Special in Apple Store an' that.

The Elephant Man Criterion Collection, $4.99, 4K, but no special features. Was strange to see a 1980 Anthony Hopkins.

Similar pricing might be available in GBP in the UK Apple TV Store.

I have some controversial take to express on r/billsimmons

Looking forward to Digger. As far as the meme, let’s stick with more Sam and less Norman, art snobs be damned.

iPhone 18 Pro might cost less than expected, per report

HEADLINE: J.P. Morgan forecasts $50-100 price increases for iPhone 18 Pro line, much lower than some estimates

Just one question- What still of the “imminent” price hikes on EXISTING products, as predicted last Thursday by Gurman?

Very glad I haven’t opened my brand new 17 Pro.

Expecting IMMINENT iPhone 17 PRICE HIKES?!?

According to MacWorld, Gurman is anticipating price hikes on EXISTING items as soon as this upcoming week.

Some of us were waiting for iPhone 18 Pro, but were taken aback by Tim Cook’s outro remarks to WSJ this past week. Variable aperture and supposed satellite 5G aside, 12 GB RAM is expected to be the same between 17 Pro & 18 Pro models. As such, the 17 Pro is looking more appealing, even on the tail end of its retail cycle.

Not asking whether or not it’s worth it to wait, but rather gauging speculation on whether Apple is about to do a seemingly-unprecedented price hike on EXISTING merchandise that’s retailed for less since 2025?

iOS 27 gives Apple’s Calendar app new feature I’ve wanted for years

Does this natural language implementation effectively sherlock Fantastical?

Beyond that, I first noticed in the menopause section that April 1 at 9:41 AM was the default date. Didn’t suffer any fools this year.

They say Vision Pro is doomed, but I just bought one anyway • CultOfMac.com

Great article. There's a notable pull quote from the section My Vision for VisionOS:

“Maybe instead of being tethered to a battery pack, it should be tethered to an iPhone. That way, it can offload most of the weight, processing and cost."

Expanding on that, perhaps offloaded processing will become possible with solid state batteries in an upcoming iPhone. We shall see.
