First time buyer - GF or seller issues? Is this normal? 🥲
Hi everyone 💕 First time rep buyer here and just looking for a little advice/reassurance lol.
I’ve been trying to buy a Chanel bag for almost 2 months through a trusted seller, but at this point I’m honestly confused if this is normal GF behavior or more of a seller issue 🥲
I paid for a bag after being told it was in stock, but after weeks of waiting I still never received PSPs and couldn’t really get a clear timeline on what was going on with the original bag. The seller then suggested switching styles, but now every replacement bag I ask about also is OOS or needing customization 😭
Timeline:
• Apr 8 — reached out to seller. They said would check factory stock
• Apr 22 — Followed up, seller confirmed it was in stock, and I sent payment
• May 11 — Followed up asking for PSPs/update
• May 14 — Seller said the factory still hadn’t shipped the bag yet and couldn’t provide a timeline
• May 18 — Seller suggested switching to another style instead
• May 20–21 — seller confirmed my other styles were unavailable / “taken off shelves” / needing customization
• May 22 — Seller is now checking if additional replacement bags are actually in stock
At this point I feel like every bag I ask about ends up not actually being available even though they’re recent album posts 😅
Is this pretty normal lately with God Factory/sellers? Do you usually ask specifically for ready-to-ship bags instead of choosing from albums? And at what point would you personally ask for a refund vs continue waiting/switching styles?
Not trying to bash the seller at all since they’re on the trusted seller list 💕 just genuinely trying to learn rep buying etiquette as a first timer.
