Light Primer Strike almost ruined an awesome run
This is the 2nd match in about 2 years that I've run the Beretta 92X Performance. Had some issues today with it and it reminded me why I switched platforms.
While light primer strikes can be resolved with a heavier hammer spring, the better option is an extended firing pin like other companies make. There just isn't one around that I know of.
Run was still fast as hell, but the 1st shot on steel probably would have connected if the prior trigger pull wasn't a light strike. Who knows.
Anyway, Beretta needs their competition guns to have extended firing pins...
