Blob Monster Test. Poll for monsters.

I was thinking of 3 monsters to play,

1 Giant Lizard similar to the goat Godzilla
2 UFO with lasers and arm upgrades
3 An amorphous blob that swallows things and gets bigger.

This blob is cool but tanks the framerate. maybe I'll use it another game.
If I get enough requests for the blob I will spend time on making gameplay match the fps limitations.

Admiring my work and something new at the end.

I'm working the quest system, nothing to show yet but I do have linked timed quests working.
I'm currently working on loading a custom map and associating it to quests.

The slow walk and the visual Difference between Low, Medium, and High detail settings.is low to low

The camera needs to be normalized when walking on uneven ground and there is a weird player shake after a while I need to fix,

There are also options for:
physics solver Iterations,
Raytraced Lighting SDFGI
Item time to back active bodies into voxels
Floating Island detection distance and time
building chunk size on break up
Building collapsing collision detection toggle
Render scale
FXAA
MSAA x4
Max active physics bodies
Planer and Probe Reflections

Doing the Man Dance for 7 Minutes

I wanted to see how much destruction the engine could handle at once. A slight dip in the framerate a few times but overall, I think it's good. and if you look hard no Floating ISLANDS!!! Yay.

This should answer the question what happens when many buildings fall at once.

Is a Picture Worth a Thousand Voxels?

I've been posting a lot of videos lately. Seeing if screenshots have the same impact. All imaged taken from Godot in game and not edited.

Show off the Physics debugging option

I think the I'm done with the physics for now. On to level design and monster upgrades and a steam page. I need to start capturing wishlists.

There was Shrinkage

Testing out the level up growing. I need to change the attack destruction scaling system and movement speed to the player size.

Can you tell what you do in the game from the capsule art?

First pass on the layout for the capsule art, I kinda like it.

More Physics Optimization

A few more tweaks and I'm on to making the destruction feel gamified.

what monsters should I make first?
giant lizard
UFO
Blob Monster
make the city less generic
gamify the destruction and smoke better

I added new smoke and fire effects

I worked all weekend on optimizing the physics. Tomorrow I'll post a video the effects look way cooler in motion...I swear!!! Anybody with a beefy machine want to stress test it DM me

The Start of a Kaiju Rampage game in 3D

This is a test for a destructible environment. Have you ever wanted to destroy buildings, throw a cars, or trees at buildings...I have. This is a tech demo for a Kaiju battling game. It's written in Godot with plenty of C++ to help with the physics. I have the destruction part mostly done. I need to tighten up the floating islands, and load balance large pieces being broken up into voxels. All comments welcome.
