I think Canada might have a slight problem

Apparently they don’t have the means to get crude oil to ports, and they don’t have refineries either. I suppose they can have their millions of immigrants building stuff, but I assume they’ll spend most of their energy arguing about “points of personal privilege” and being triggered instead of actually doing anything.

Has anyone else had problems getting their vehicle registration renewal stickers?

I paid for my vehicle registration renewal back on June 17. I hadn’t received it by July 6, so I called the Sedgwick County Treasurer’s office to see what had happened. They supposedly printed and mailed another one on July 9, and it still hasn’t arrived yet. (My mom hasn’t received hers, either.)

Is this something that anyone else has experienced?

I would pay attention to the storms coming in

The one near Goddard looks very concerning, and the one by Cheney reservoir is very suspicious. Just FYI there’s a tornado watch just south of us in Sumner county, but storms can develop in and around the watch area.

Be alert for large hail, especially with that storm just west of Wichita.

Where’s the hoopla for the 250th anniversary of the USA?

This year is the 250th anniversary of the USA’s independence. I was 16 in 1976, the 200th anniversary, and the bicentenial was a big deal! Red, white, and blue on everything. Patriotic merchandise. Parades. TV specials. Community events. Any thoughts on why it’s barely being mentioned?

As a cashier i really dont understand why we have to also entertain the customers

As someone who came from another country, it's really weird for me that we have to listen to their stories, lame repetetive jokes, ask them about their life

And they get offended if you dont reciprocate their energy. There are some customers who try to be your friends. " Nice to see you today. Take this cookie."

I couldn't care less about them. im almost working full time. Im always exhausted standing for hours on my feet, and i have to also entertain them. i really dont understand this

Edit. This customer, whom I have seen only twice in my life, recently had major surgery. He came in all wounded with stitches on his head and ears. I said hello as usual, and he started pouring his heart out about his surgery. Then, he took off his cap and showed me his blue, purplish wound and stitches. Why?? Why did I need to see that? It took me two days to forget what that wound looked like. I don't like seeing blood, wounds, etc. I don't need this, and I didn't even ask him anything about his surgery.

Cuteness break with my family of foxes 🦊

This momma fox has either four or five pups and has taken up residence on my property.

Although I am sure my neighbors who have chickens aren’t thrilled, they mostly seem to hunt insects and rodents (mom is playing with a mouse in the video).

I don’t feed them and only watch them via security cameras to prevent them from getting overly familiar with people.

My yard is a bit of a mess but it’s an oasis for wildlife. :)

I received a letter and was told to expect a phone call this past Monday, but nobody called. My information is incorrect and I can’t fix it online. I was told to make an appointment to see someone, but I had to make the appointment online because they don’t accept walk ins. The website will not allow me to make an appointment.

I am facing termination of my benefits May 9 and have left 14 voicemails this week trying to get this fixed.

If I lose my benefits I will take my own life.
