Looking for clubs with 70s/80s music

Hallo! My husbands taste in music is a bit “groovy and funky” meaning he loves music from the 70s/80s. He has gone to countless techno clubs with me, but we have never gone to a bar or club with his music tastes. Anyone have any recs?

Question about constant mucus blocking my airway for >10 years

Hello! So I have mucus in my throat 24/7 every few hours it gets to the point where it feels like it’s blocking my throat and I have to do this weird aggressive coughing thing to clear my through which results in me coughing up a ton of mucus. This happens to me every day and has since I was 15, I’m 27 now. Any time I go to the allergist they give me a different decongestant say it’s probably just hey fever even though it’s everyday of every season and has been the same in the US, Germany, and Australia, and then send me on my way. I’m not sure what is going on. I’m slightly scared bc I was visiting my grandma who has lung disease and I had a moment where it felt like my airway was blocked so I had to clear my throat and the nurse came running and said I sounded exactly like my grandma when she has an issue. Does anyone else have this experience? I have a prescription allergy pill and nose spray and have never had any improvement.

Name pronunciation switching between English and German

I’m a bit curious as to how Germans feel about their names being pronounced differently in German and English, specifically British English. My husband (German) and I (English) are currently living in Germany and trying to figure out possible baby names and were wondering if people who have this prefer to have a name pronounced the same in both languages or use the different pronunciations based on which language you’re speaking (z.B. Theo)

I am 27F in pretty good shape. I run probably on average about 7 km a week. I can do a 30 min 5k but no matter how slow I run, my face looks like this?? And my heart rate is at the max by the end. I drink a lot of water (I drank 2L through out the day before this run) and I eat pretty well. Please explain it to me like I’m 5

Hallo! I am looking to leave after I finish my PhD. Unfortunately I am from an institute where leaving is very taboo so there are no true resources for people who want to leave. Any advice as to how to rework my CV to cater towards industry? Specifically in Germany. I am in astronomy working with large data sets doing demographic studies. Thanks in advanced!

Hello! I’m currently a PhD Student in germany in Astrophysiks. I’ve had a very successful PhD with over 150 citations on my first author papers, but I’m tired. I don’t want to move anymore I just want to be able to go home and not stress about my work. Does anyone have any advice as to how best to prepare? I’m about 1 year away from graduating, but I want to start applying to jobs early, but have no idea where to start or how to get my CV prepared. I have a b2 certificate for German and am working for c1. I really want to do something more meaningful, and if anyone has any advice as to how to transition into healthcare I’d love to hear it! Thanks!
