How to get a 496 like me (step by step tutorial)

step 1 : register late after forgetting the registration date (as a result you can take a one and a half month vacation with the time you didn’t use)

step 2 : study late . focus on uni first and then start to think about mcat studies when your bored on summer break

step 3 : while studying manufacture a life altering event (this will give you a good week away from studying so you can spend the next week recovering your anki account)

step 4 : take your exam and see your score

I keep improving and also regressing . confused

the week after studying C/P I go from 122 -> 126 .

the week after studying B/B I go from 122 -> 127 .

the week after studying P/S I go from 122 -> 126 .

no cars improvement 124

- but the week after -

my C/P goes from 126 -> 124 and the same goes for P/S. [b/b was this week so idk if it will go down] .

7/11 test.

yes I am doing Anki which was the reason my score went up. my only notes are anki so there shouldn't be anything I learn and is not reviewed everyday.

does this mean I am subconsciously learning the way AAMC writes questions which I forget the next week ?

Was FL1 the easiest CARS section ? or did I mess up CARS

I have taken fl 2-5 now and have not gotten a score close to fl1 cars which I got a 50% percentile which I'll honestly take at this point. consistent 15-20% percentile CARS ever since.

should I make Anki cards on weird answer choices ? example : Bose–Einstein Principle or Naming explosion

from FLs. it helps to understand all the answer choices in Zaworldo but idk if random bollishd like Bose–Einstein Principle or like naming explosion is useful to keep ?? cus AAMC likes to torture us with odd things

When I study a section for a few days i do well . if I leave it a few days for a different section my score goes down. How to fix fluctuating section scores ?

For example in C/P my initial score was 122 then I studied just C/P to get 126. so I went to study P/S for a 3 days going from initial 122 to 128. after that three days my C/P when down to 124. On the other hand my bio section score went up and stayed the same without grinding practice bio questions. cars is just pray for easy passages.

If I finish all the AAMC chem questions I won't have any practice so I dont know if I should even finish it. I believe it's mostly about how to read each section. I need to somehow remember the reading speed and attitude for each section but its kinda weird idk.

Dear Zaworldo , I will be copying and pasting your explanations into my cloze Anki cards. You can not stop me by preventing copying text on your website.

I will be screenshotting your explanation and copying the text using apple's text recognition software.

When doing CARS passages - > How do I not use a previous question to answer a later question ? or it that literally what I should do ?

When doing CARS passages - > How do I not use a previous question to answer a later question ? or it that what I should do ?

I dont know how else to explain this but it feels like that. I mostly dont understand passages and the questions give me information that I use for other questions. it works but is that bad ?

How do I stop being cloudy brained when starting FLs

something about the combination of the time of the day and sitting down for a 6 hour test really messes with me. Im hella slow just reading words starting with C/P and then I become a superhero when the clock says 30 minutes left. should I be neurotic and do practice problems before starting a FL so I am fully activated ?

Someone give me tips on how to do C/P . and hear out what I want to do

I take wayyyyy too much time in C/P and struggle to finish in time . when I review my fl I genuinely think I could have answered the question without reading the text and rather pecking phrases by skimming for the question. should I do that instead ? any other ways I could reduce time taken per question for C/P ?

AAMC website is so bad

everything on my computer works except the AAMC website. I have disabled my ad blocker and anything other extensions for that website. IT JUST KEEPING LOADING AND REFRESHING HOLY SHII . even if I try to access the subpage that I want to get to IT JUST REDIRECTS ME TO THE MAIN STARTING PAGE AND KEEPS REFRESHING. am I stupid ? or is that something others are experiencing ?

are you guys lying that I need to know names for P/S ? I haven't seen a single question asking for it yet

did fl1 and fl3 . didn't see any . I know like the concepts with the name in the concept are tested like kluver-bucy syndrome but I am talking about questions like blah allport came up with the cardinal,central and secondary traits in which the concept is named "3 basic categories of traits" so there is not point in knowing the name blah allport.

What’s your opinion on submitting an application to one school to learn before a real application cycle ?

i feel like with everything i have done i learned if i did it with the knowledge i had after i completed i would have done a lot better. i dont have any guidance or peers to learn about the process other than this reddit community so that’s why i want to just try it once so i can learn how to plan around it.
