I hate the night time

Having to go to that bed of dread

It used to be our love bed

Now I don't even want to look at it

I fall asleep on the couch only to realize this ain't my house

I'm sinking in sorrow of tomorrow

Doom and gloom

I feel broken

Like I will never be me again

Who am I? Who am I without that man?

All the should've could've would've it have made a difference?

Some of my prized possessions came from this marriage.

How do I not disconnect from my son because my marriage is done?

We were a unit but now we are nothing

I hate feelings but thats what makes me human

I hear laughter outside, screams of joy

What's the term for different lives being lived all at once? Sonder

Which is something else thats tied to him

I used to cringe when he called me his wife

I told him he didn't make me feel like it

Maybe its because I wasn't and I knew it

My body rejected him in many ways on many days

He disgusted me

I was his rebound

I knew it all along but I didn't know for sure until now

He didn't expect for me to do what I did in exchange for his actions

I didn't find the courage to leave

I did in the beginning but he begged me to come back

I should've stayed gone

How would my life look if I had?

All the time that's passed

He completed his goals

While I stopped growing and regressed back into the version of myself I hated

Its not his fault although I blame him

I have issues is what I told him when we first met

I didn't want a relationship

Its time

I can't engage sexually with another man

I don't care what he does or with who

I love me

Do I?

So, after having the cold throw fill my room I decided to burn it. Before burning it I realized the cande fell out of the vessel quite easily. The vessel and candle came separate. I messaged Guerlain to be sure once the candle was lit it would stick to the vessel. I was hesitant to light it honestly. Even though Guerlain said it would melt into the vessel and stick. I lit it and it did this. It also comes right out of the vessel when flip upside down. I'm extremely disappointed. I trimmed the wick and burned it for 3 or 4 hours. I also felt extremely nauseated once it started to throw. Its not from the strength its just the candle. I have the extrait in parfum form and its just as strong and on my person. Ughhhhhhhh... I emailed them again and I will send them a photo upon request. I just want to return this. I will stick with their perfume and home spray. I will update thier response. Anyone else going through this? I've had multiple "high end" candles never had this experience. Although those came in the vessel and didn't have a gap between the vessel and candle itself. Should've gone with my gut and skipped out on this candle. Back to Baccarat Rouge even though the price went up $10.

Berry Jelly is a delicious, vibrant, and juicy fragrance that you can use for layering or on its own. With its blend of sweet, chewy raspberry jelly, fragrant blackcurrant, and pure peony, Berry Jelly embodies the luxurious sweetness characteristic of the Bonbon line." – Viktor & Rolf

I have an upcoming trip to DC. I want to smell the les legendaires line by Guerlain. Where could I smell these? Modern or vintage.

Any store you suggest? I already have on the list Parfum de France, Bluemercury, Krigler, & Shoshana.

I was under the belief that scents are hard to find and sample. Which can create internal fomo. I don't follow trends or watch any perfume related content unless I own the fragrance already. If I do see reviews on sites I visit daily that has no influencers in sight I will sample it. Or try to find a sample.

Until recently I realized the samples I was about to pay $14 (for a 1ml) for are in stores within a hour of me. I had 57 samples in mh Scent Split cart and various other sites. Some I couldn't find and would have to rely on traveling to other continents to try. Or so I thought.

Neiman Marcus had Loewe's Iris Root and Roasted Vanilla. Nordstrom had Initio's new scents, LV store had their scents of course. So on, and so on. Reaching out to stores further away to mail you samples, ect. Even reaching out to said brand to send you samples. The last option isn't always successful especially if they offer discovery sets. Even then the option to buy and have a promo code of the price paid. I've even helped some brands transition to the US market. As to which they have sent me gifts for that service.

I love fragrance and sometimes feel like its a full time job. Knowing almost every scent on these databases available to us. Surprising people at the counters with my knowledge. The counters can be aggravating because people judge and turn up their noses. The whole time I'm thinking to myself like this brand really isn't all that, lol. Sometimes I can't pronounce the names. I can spell them though. I usually don't talk I just research. I have learned a lot of other languages and facts in this hobby. Sometimes I'm caught off guard and didn't learn beforehand or simply forget.

What are some of your sentiments you have about this hobby? Do you think you could work at a fragrance counter with all tbe knowledge you've acquired? How do you feel about influencers? Have you learned yourself enough to pick your own scents? Do you find yourself surprised with some scents that contain notes you swore off?

I want to know about your journey, somethings that have astonished you. Or simply felt out of reach, maybe even out of touch?

I've been wanting to try this and thought I would I have to visit a Prada store or department store. Yet, I was in sephora to smell some cheapies and saw this. I said woahhhh and quickly sprayed it. Instant love! Have you tried this? Thoughts, anything similar out there?

What is your favorite from the brand?

A few aren't pictured here, Tabac Sahara, 99 Mitsuko, & Tonka Sarrapia. Loads of samples and decants.
