I bit the bullet. Time to simplify

I finally bought a UGREEN to update my out of date NAS and get rid of my mini PC hosting Home Assistant.

I currently run HA on a mini PC which is FAR too powerful for what I need and is unnecessary. Is there a simple way I can migrate my HA setup from the mini PC to the NAS when time comes?

Also, any good tutorials out there to fully automate a plex setup? I am hoping to eventually get a system where the girl (or someone else) can just text or message something and it’ll fetch media automatically. I’m sick of being a middle man.

Goodbye Synology.

Charger fault? Or car mad?

I had plugged in about an hour ago but randomly looked on the app and saw it wasn’t charging, but just connected which is odd because it’s within the time frame for the charger and never had an issue prior. (It did go up a few percentage before I noticed it)

I went out there and the car was totally black. With PAK, I couldn’t get in and the car wouldn’t unlock and gave a red light when I tried to unplug it. I was able to unlock via the app itself and then I just reseated the charger and we’re back to normal.

Once I sat in, it showed a “key left in vehicle” message which was odd because I had my phone with me a ways away.

Anyone know what happened?

Stop spitting seeds into the cargo bins…

Seriously, stop being lazy. It’s disgusting and trashy. Sincerely, maintenance.

P2 creaking deep inside the dash?

Ever since I got my 2022 P2, I’ve had a very slight squeaking and creaking from what seems like deep inside the dash. Almost under the infotainment / behind the storage cubby.

I only really hear it in the morning when I’m listing to a podcast and it’s fairly quiet, but it’s rather irritating at times.

I’ve done the repair to the vent panel on top of the dash, although I need to do more, I don’t believe it’s that. It’s definitely lower in the structure it seems.

I also have a new one in back seat, left side. My sister said it sounds to be above the seatbelt area at shoulder height.

Anyone else have that and try to tackle it?

Found an iPad at my work (airline maintenance) but no identification on it. Unfortunately, I have zero faith it would make it back to them in the lost and found.

Any way to find who owns it and contact them?

I figured out my persistent “key fob low battery” dashboard message is due to a tab broken off in the battery holder of the key.

Anyone know where I can find a replacement case where I can just transfer the guts into?
