One Russian-language review

«Two years ago, I a veteran of the First Galactic War - was dragged out of the freezer once again. Yet another batch of young patriots, with fire in their eyes, dynamite up their buts, and wind in their heads… And I went with them, donning my cloak once more.

Someone once said: War never changes. And that is a fact.

Now, I have buried all those who championed Controlled Democracy, the Prosperity of Super-Earth and Lady Liberty the loudest. Some were torn to pieces by the Terminids, which, thanks to the efforts of "our" scientists, are adapting and multiplying faster than we can burn them. One was unlucky enough to be run over by the tracks of an automaton tank. Malevilon-Creek, Meridia, thrice-cursed Cyberstan... I was there. I saw my comrades perish. And in the end, I was the last one left.

This message is addressed to the current Government of Super-Earth.

Through your incompetence and thirst for personal gain, you are repeating the history of your predecessors. It is impossible to win wars when, instead of proper weapons, you constantly send us useless toys. Of the nearly hundred new weapon models we have tested in the field, barely a quarter are capable of killing effectively. Our enemies are developing and adapting faster than we are. And you feed us empty promises that industry will soon recover and we will defeat them all...

Rejoice while you can. I have already seen Super-Earth burn during the First Galactic War... And by all accounts, it will burn again. For cannon fodder has a habit of running out. And when that happens... It will be too late to regret what has been done.»
