Will this cause rust? Am I overthinking it?
I literally just bought my truck yesterday and the tailgate was closed with my phone in it, causing it to get jammed in between. Now there’s exposed metal… I wouldn’t normally care but this truck is BRAND NEW. Should I bother addressing it? I live in Tennessee and the roads get oversalted as well

Why is my 10-month old Bullmastiff so small?
She’s 10 months old tomorrow and she’s only 70lbs. Her dad was a beast and her mom wasn’t that small either. I do keep her lean but I feel like she stopped growing lol. I give her 3 cups of dry food plus actual meat (chicken/beef/etc)

Is $38441 OTD fair for a new 2026 Ranger XL 4x4?
I’m being offered a 4x4 Ranger XL in desert sand paint for $38441. It was used by the dealership as a loaner truck and it has 3000 miles which I feel is kind of high for a 2026. The sales tax in my state is pretty high so there’s no getting around that. I know I’m not getting an AMAZING deal but do yall think it’s at least fair? I have a 2011 Crown Vic with 300k miles and I don’t know how much longer it’s gonna run

Decent find? Walther AC42 P.38
Picked up this 1942 P.38 with all matching serial numbers. Bore is solid, gun fully functions and has just the right amount of wear. OG grips and magazine as well. How would you guys recommend storing and maintaining this to prevent rust? I was thinking light coat of CLP and a dehumidifier in a safe.. but I’m new to milsurp guns. Thanks

Do I need a piston for a Walther PPK S/D?
I recently bought a SilencerCo Spectre 9 for a .32 Walther PPK S/D that I’m waiting to pick up. The store employee said that I need a piston to run the suppressor… but from my research due to a PPK having a fixed barrel, I do NOT need one and using one can actually be detrimental. Would someone please be able to fill me in on what the best practice is? It would be much appreciated
