As someone who gets around mostly on my own personal ebike, I'm so curious about the demographics of people who have been using bike shares.

• How were you getting around before using bike share?
• Do you pay monthly or a la carte?
• What percentage of your trips do you use them for?
• Do you feel safe outside of a car on LA streets? (Anecdotally it seems like a lot of people doing this aren't wearing helmets, which I say without judgement.)
• Is there anything the city could be doing to make the experience better for you?

For such a cool piece of tech tethered to such a despised company, I'm surprised there isn't a more obvious library of mods and hacks for these things.

I was just gifted a Gen 1 and I have no interest in wearing a camera that talks directly to Meta all day, but I thought I might get some use from them as a dashcam when I ride my bike. I'm wondering if there are any hacks that could extend the length of video recordings and/or send my videos directly to my phone rather than using the Meta AI app as a go-between. Has anyone tried doing this yet?

I ask because I found myself in a game against Jeff Hoogland today and I was starstruck so I fist bumped at the start and the end of the match, but when I watched myself back on the Twitch VOD neither emote went through and I never saw him mute me. It has me wondering if enough players have muted me to the point that I’m shadow muted by the game against my knowledge. I don’t emote toxically unless provoked but I have been known to fist bump a lot ha. Anyone know?

I'm trying to install an axle with a trailer hitch but I'm intimidated to take the whole rear wheel off and hoping against hope that I might be able to just slide the axle out without disassembling everything back there. Does anyone know if this is possible?
