But if you close your eyes...

The general "gritty-rundown" aesthetics of Rockport and surrounding areas (along with the gas prices, mostly empty streets and intensive police patroling) got me thinking: time setting is kinda wrong. It doesn't feel like NJ, 2005; it feels like... NJ, 1979! And so, I got to work...

The results? See for yourself. Mod-worthy? Hmm....

F U R Y !

No amount of one model is too many... So, meet the Furys—the Graffiti 77, the Arkansas State Police 75, the Detective 77, the Racing 76 (little one), the Beater 60, the non-Christine Blue 58, and the White 57. "The more—the merrier!", as they say in GB.

P.S.: There is also a Hot Wheels 57, but the manufacturer had screwed the design by incorrectly mish-mashing the 57 and 58—so, it is not here.

Upd: I also run a Telegram channel—accidentallyfury...

No amount of Fury is too many...

In my country it is literally impossible to buy a Plymouth Fury—and so, I've resorted to die-casts.

After all these years...

I like Saturns. I think they're neat.

So, there I was, [completely wasting out of work and down] trying to get myself one—to no success: the real ones in my country are not affordable (and not sedans or coupes), and die-casts are almost non-existent... But thankfully, this time luck was finally on my side—while randomly browsing through the local reselling app, I've managed to stumble upon this fine and accurate 1:18 SC2 '01 model from AutoArt—25 years in the original packaging, still untouched! How cool is that?

The dream is fulfilled. Time to celebrate.🍾

The Big Ones

Hi, everybody! As someone did a day ago, I thought I'd too would share photos of my vintage Majorettes—1:18 scale ones. Currently, I own only two Peugeots, but from time to time, on our country's reselling app are popping up (imo kind of unreasonably expensive!) used Jeeps, Mercedes-Benzes, and Minis. Would be nice to know if there's someone here who also has and likes that kind of outstanding models!)

P.S.: Last photo is the full list—directly from the back of the original box.

A very important question

Do the KAVZ (Kurgansky Bus Factory) buses count as semi-official Linkin Park merch? I mean...

From the sidenotes of history...

Little-known fact about mk1 Twingo—in the late 90s Renault had contacted Vladimir Yartsev (by the time not very well-known in the western world ex-soviet citizen, creator of some Lada Samara "warmed up" versions, convertibles and Lada 2110) of belgian Yartsevdesign studio, and asked him to design them a special edition of the model. He took the job, did it (1st picture, upper right corner), and even made some prototype rims (2nd picture). Due to some unknown factors (possibly the realization complexity), Renault decided to cancel the project, paying Yartsev for the results, but opting to use the cost-cutted "in house" design version instead. Info from Vladimir personally (3rd picture, archive photo).
