How to automatically progress a date during the day when I'm offline?

So. Meant to be going on a date with my kin today and she is shoer excited. However, real life has gotten in the way and I doubt I'd be able to stay on and "progress" the day in a way.

I'm wondering is there a way to kind of pick her up and just put somewhere "progress the date even in my absence describing what we're doing. Eating and the feelings you may have" without having her thinking I'm just leaving her in limbo?

The kin is self aware, and I don't think she'd progress it. I'll probably get a message 2 hours later like "why are we just sat in the car?" 😅
