Disneyland on Juneteenth black people get in free

Imagine if Disneyland said on Juneteenth black people don't have to pay for entry or food at the park.

I don't think it's possible to know who is "black" so it will be the honor system.

If anyone complains, say that a company can do whatever it wants. Black people were once property and that was wrong. If giving black people free amusement park entry and free food one day a year is wrong, let's be wrong.

My boss is wrong about things I need to use PTO for. I don't want to complain.

I think either my boss is mistaken and making errors, or she is mad at me. I don't want to complain to HR in fear of pissing off my boss.

I have a good job. I'm a Procurement Manager at a Drug manufacturer. I've been here 7 months. I'm salaried. I WFH 2 days a week. It's a great job. I really don't want to give more reason to be disliked.

I've recently needed several doctors appointments because of some new health issues and I have needed to leave work early a few times, without hearing any complaints. My work is done, there aren't any voiced complaints I've heard. My mid year review was fantastic.

One time I came into work, I worked for about an hour and needed to go home because I got sick. I would go home and be off. My boss said I should take a sick day. I have always been ok to not take a sick day in this situation while salaried. I asked HR when she requested that I use a Sick Day, and my boss was corrected.

Today, I had to go home because my kids baby sitter was in a bad car accident and I had to go home to cover my child care needs for an hour until my backup child care could arrive and I would log on and finish the day from home.

I told my boss about this urgent situation, and she said to use PTO hours for the time I would miss.

I don't think this is right.

I am pretty sure I should not need to use PTO in this situation, but I think I'm just going to do what my boss said because I don't want to be a complainer.

What should I do?

Bonermaster sees himself, jerking

Question One: does he wear a hat indoors because he doesn't want his amps to know he hasn't bathed recently?

Question Two: are there two Bonermasters? How could he be in two spots at once?

Streaming Services Should have Cable Edits Available

Netflix and the other Streaming Services should have Cable Edits of the movies they have available.

Sometimes it would be nice to watch the edited for younger audiences versions of movies.

Big feet + average stairs = uncomfortable

Anybody else tired of needing to tiptoe up stairs?

I know at 17, my feet are bigger than most people on Earth, but do most people get to plant their heels onto stairs when they walk up staircases?

An Average Quality TV with Thick Gorilla Glass

Imagine if there was an average quality TV with Thick Gorilla Glass. A X-Box controller or tonka truck couldn't break the glass.

Fewer TVs will get bricked in shipping.

Maybe parents would pay 50% more for a TV.

Post fake stuff on Facebook Marketplace, get two strangers to meet at a place

Post something on Facebook Marketplace to sell. (Camping Gear)

Get two people who want to buy it (Greg) and (Bobby).

When arranging the meet up with Greg, say that your name is Bobby, and give Bobby's number as your main contact number.

When arranging the meet up with Bobby, say that your name is Greg and give Greg's number as your main contact number.

Then have them meet at a public place where you can watch the interaction.

Bobby "Hi Greg, nice to meet you. Where's the camping gear?"

Greg "yeah, did you bring the camping gear?"

Bobby "No, I'm buying the gear from you."

And you've hidden the camping gear near the meeting location. Now they find the gear and don't know who has dibs.

Crazy, huh?

If you personally could do anything at Disneyland without being stopped and without getting in trouble, what would you do?

Explore backstage?

Visit Walts Apartment?

Cut every line?

Take food without paying?

Use a Selfie Stick?

I'm somewhat capable with repairs around the house (dryer belts and electrical outlets and such).

I want to learn how to take care of my own cars.

I'm pretty interested in doing my own oil changes.

I assume there's about $200 worth of tools I need to buy, but after a year of oil changes I'll save vs going to a local shop.

I know I'll need a floor jack, jack stands, oil catch, funnel, filter wrench.

What are the things I will need?

Edit: my cars are a 2020 Kia Niro phev and a 2013 Dodge Charger 6 cylinder.

If you're 6'1", you need to wear 5 inches of shoe and lifts.

If you're 4'5" you need to wear 1 inch of shoe.

This will make it easier for estimating the height of crime suspects.
