The homemade topper consisted of ground turkey, rice, sweet potatoes, spinach, green beans and corn. With dog chicken broth. I would usually layer this on top of 1 cup of science diet kibble.

He was eating it consistently breakfast and dinner since last Wednesday now it’s Tuesday and he’s lost interest. Ugh.

Any advice? Want to mention that when he went on hunger strike he was still interested in treats and his bully sticks but would not eat a meal. He also threw up yellow bile which is why i decided to make a homemade topper that he seemed to enjoy to a few days smh

My poodle used to eat kibble plain up until month 7 then I was giving him toppers. I’ve gone through 3 different toppers until I realized I needed to ween him off because he’s becoming picky. We are now on day 3 of no eating without any toppers and he just threw up yellow bile. This is extremely frustrating

He’s projected to be about 25 pounds but he’s such a picky eater. Hes been on science diet since I got him at 3 months but recently he’s become so picky that he needs toppers so ive given in…. But now he doesn’t eat the food with the toppers. He still eats his treats and drinks water but he turns his nose up to the food. After 15 mins I pick it up and try again later on in the day but still experiencing the same behavior… should I switch to another kibble? Hes been doing this on and off for a month now.

I have a lot of friends and family in Rockville Maryland and frequent the area a lot. Any suggestions

I honestly thought all poodles were non shedding. His fur also curly in some spots and straight in others

Is anyone in the Reston area experiencing this? In fact a bunch of them are staying at my apartment complex and my apartment seems to be allowing the religious solicitation. Ugh

Is anyone else experiencing this? So frustrating

I recently attended a 2-day conference, so my boyfriend watched my 1-year-old poodle at his apartment over the weekend.

He follows pretty much the same routine I do with my dog, but he recently got noise complaints from his apartment management saying my dog has been barking excessively during the day for several days. Apparently, this mostly happens when my boyfriend isn’t home.

What confuses me is that when my dog is at my house and I leave, I check my camera and rarely ever see or hear him barking. He’s generally much calmer when he’s with me.

I’ve also noticed that my dog tends to be much more disobedient at my boyfriend’s apartment than at my house. I’m definitely the more structured owner—I focus on training, boundaries, and consistency. My boyfriend is more of a “let a dog be a dog” type of person and is much more relaxed with rules.

Could the change in environment be causing this? Or could my dog be behaving differently because he knows my boyfriend has different expectations and boundaries? Has anyone experienced something similar with their dog acting completely different depending on who is watching them?

Just ran into an ex friend today that cut me off 7 years ago. When she cut me off without letting me know it really hurt my heart it’s actually taken years for me to forgive and I ran into her today. She was with a friend and I said hi with a smile and she exchanged another hi with a smile and walked away.. i do wish to rekindle with her but I’m not sure if it’s the right thing to do because she was the one who cut me off
