Fit check for new carrier after many of you pointed out that my last one was unsafe for the baby. Thank you!!! On this one baby cried but then fell asleep in 5 minutes. I’m so relieved. THANK YOU to this beautiful community. I hope this is now right?

When did you stop feeling exhausted and having energy to work out? I had a fit pregnancy towards the end but right now my energy level reminds me of early pregnancy, some days high most days extremely low. Any tips as to having more energy? I can’t even blame my 3mo child.

baby sleeps well, I eat well but sometimes i have sugar cravings that are insane. I am not even concerned with weight as much as feeling fit and having energy is my top wish right now. Everyday I feel my body went through an intensive work out but we just went for a walk and I wake up walking stiff like a robot.

- not a progress post but more of a cry for tips what were you doing to have higher levels of energy.

I’m 3months pp, combo feedin, baby and partner are supportive I don’t know why im so tired

Low supply almost made me give up. I’m so proud and happy I didn’t! 12 week update!

I lost a lot of blood in my vaginal delivery due to incision, paired with low iron and a historical record of no milk in the family, all led to me having so little supply that we had to stay longer in the hospital and had to introduce formula. At the hospital I forced myself to pump so much that I hurried my nipples and my stitches down there( i forced not anyone else) same at home. I was in pain and still forcing things with the pump because baby didnt latch properly.

then I: found a way to borrow and pumped with Medela Symphony almost every 4 hours at home, did lots of skin to skin, increase supplements and finally RELAXED! I always pretty much gave breast before formula but not always. I really did a lot of testing and sleeping well - as baby gets older- got me now with steady supply!

I am grateful that formula allowed me to progressively improve my supply without harming the dece of my baby.

I don’t know why the last days so many negative pots showed up here. maybe bought bots from formula companies? anyways, I want to share my positive story. to share that I do take care of myself, I do have a healthy relationship with myself, my body has odours but that is all the hormonal changes and liquid we lost pp, weight is not the major concern in my life right now but I am losing fat little by little. THE NIPPLES ARE NOT SORE ANYMORE!

finally: the BEST feeling in the world is when baby is satisfied with milk coming out on the side of the lip, looking at you in the eye and laughing mid nursing. I know I don’t have the. biggest supply therefore I see breastmilk as medicine for my baby, and every drop counts!

nevertheless I plan to nurse only baby is 6months. after this I truly will start focusing more on fitness, introducing solids etc. I know I will miss the unimaginable bonding these moments bring but everything has its time.

I wish all the new mums the very best of luck! stay calm, it gets better!!💜

I cut the sack and now I’m concerned with her safety?

My 7 week baby HATES to be swaddled - she is arms up baby and we have recently bought a sleeping sack with arms out that she accepts. We live in Europe so no AC. Out of desperation I cut the clips from one of the snoo sleeping sacks I have. Plugged the clips just to get the motion going. But now I read leaving a baby without swaddling them in the snoo is not safe ( is it because baby could rock to the side and suffocate?) the last days baby and us were sleeping on the same bed - she went through a phase and that seemed to be the only way out + a arms out sleeping bag. One week later we want to put her back in the snoo. Baby is 7 weeks but we were using size large when we tried the snoo sack - it is far too hot.

How to safely reintroduce her to snoo? Even when we put the motion she seems to recognize she is in the bassinet then she cried more 😖

Has anyone been this far with a baby arms out and got luck putting the baby swaddled in?

Thank you
