Noise Marine Kitbash Project (Pre EC Reboot)

Last year, before the Emperor's Children reboot, I gathered a whole bunch of old Noise Marine components and kitbashed a unique Noise Marine Squad.

Today, I just finished painting them after letting them sit for months and months.

They're not the best I've ever painted, but they were the most fun and I'm happy to call it a job done.

Kitbashing Lute from Hazbin Hotel

This is a project I started last year, kitbashing a Sister of Battle into the Exorcist, Lute, from Hazbin Hotel.

In this instance, the Sister of Battle has (unknowingly) fallen to Chaos after becoming overzealous, seeing anyone who is not fanatical devoted to the Emperor as a heretic, mutant, or daemon and is deserving only of the Emperor's Mercy, whilst being oblivious to the influence of the Chaos God's on her mind.

I paused this project so that I could improve my kitbashing and painting skills so that it could turn out the best possible.

This kit, so far, uses parts from Sisters of Battle Seraphim, Dark Eldar Scourges, Sisters of Battle Retributors, Sisters of Battle Repentia, some prehistoric terrain, and a whole bunch of skulls from the Box of Skulls and the Battlefield Tropies.

Is there any official art of Skalathrax?

For my EC minis, I decided I wanted to have them based as if they are still fighting with the World Eaters on Skalathreax. I was curious if there is any official artwork of Skalathrax, especially with it being so important to the World Eaters as that is Where Kharn got his "Betrayer" title.

Essentially it's for reference points for my bases, given that it is a daemon world.

Otherwise it's back to referencing Fenris

(Also here is my WIP)

This is a Renegade Ogryn, kitbashed from a Maneater Ogor, Bullgryn, and the Axe of an old Ork Nob.

Base is formed from parts from a Ork Battlewagon/Trukk, an old Forge World Imperial heavy weapon, Age of Sigmar Skeletons, and plant parts to make the wooden boards for the trenches.

Alright, I've had this idea for a while and I'm curious what people might think.

What if a Keeper of Secrets was bashed together from a Great Unclean One to make Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

She's all about giving people what they desire through contracts and witchery which would actually be a pretty cool method for Slaanesh to lure mortals to their side.

Lucius the Eternal was my first Warhammer 40K Character and the '05 sculpt is still one of my favourites.

When Citadel did a limited recast of these metal miniatures, I had the perfect reason to revisit this model.

I'm still really proud of my old work and will never scrub it clean, but this new one presents an opportunity to do it again with all my experience and love of the blanchitsu/grimdark style.

The first few pictures are of my first Lucius while the others show the WIP of the Amour of Shrieking Souls

I'm in the process of kitbashing an Ultramarine for the Deathwatch.

Having never created any Deathwatch (or Ultramarine) miniatures I was wondering if the additional detail found on the old Veterans models would be found on Deathwatch members, or would their armour be quite plain?

With Titus being a Blackshield at the beginning of SM2, I can't really use him as a template.

I have seen pictures of Kill Team Cassius, but I'm not sure if their level of detail is the norm, or if they are the exception.
