Dropped a bolt and couldn’t find it anywhere.
This Revell Lil John Buttera 1926 Ford Model T Sedan was originally built by me in 1982. It was recently cleaned up and reassembled. I’ve always loved this kit and its variants.
I have been posting my repaired old builds and here is another. I finished this kitbashed Fad T Bucket in 1984 and just repaired all of the parts that had broken off over time. I have to still find some suitable taillights.
Top question: Black, Tan, or no top? I can’t decide.
I’m still collecting the accessories for the Action Command set so I don’t have that one out yet. I have all seven of the original blackwall era folding S&G sets. I still have to get a display case for the other three not shown.
I have a large collection the late 1977 transitional cars. I love the ones with the redline stripe divot. Lots of stuff was carried over from early 1977 and the previous year.
These were an extremely early run with an obvious l spelling error. Very few were packaged before the problem was noticed. The fix was a correctly spelled sticker that is very common. I changed the brightness on the sticker card to show what is underneath.
I originally built this 1940 Ford Coupe turned convertible in 1986. I built it from a first issue AMT Trophy Series kit. Lots of mods and kit bashing on this one. It was built before any of the Pro Street kits were available. I hand made the treaded tires. I’m slowly cleaning and rebuilding all of my old builds, so stay tuned for more. Please look past the flaking 40 year old paint….🤣👍
I built this around 1992 when this Revell kit came out. I wanted a basic GMC Sonoma, so none of the Syclone parts were installed. I built it as a curbside because I just wanted to do a quick and dirty custom paint version. I cleaned and detailed it recently so it can sit proudly in my display cabinet. Enjoy.
I painted and partially assembled this 1984 AMT Bigfoot 42 years ago. I finally finished assembly today. I’ll be posting more finally finished old builds as I get them finished. Yes, I have switched the direction of the front tires since I took these pics. 🤣👍
I painted and put decals on this Revell Ed Roth Outlaw kit 41 years ago and just assembled it today. Somehow it survived 4 moves, two wives, two children, and a career. Some of the parts have been lost to time and the pearl paint didn’t age well, but it’s in one piece! I have been going through my older kits and organizing them recently. I’ll post some of my older finished builds here as well as my final assemblies of long stored kits.
