"Guitar musicians" for lack of a better word often have very blatant influences in their music like Greta Van Fleet being inspired by Led Zeppelin or Oasis clearly being inspired heavily by the The Beatles.

Are there any artists that were very clearly inspired by The Prodigy's style of music that are worth listening to?

Best synths and effect vsts for late 90s / Early 2000s sounding production

I'm currently trying to make nostalgic music from movies like Blade and The Matrix. That futuristic at the time, industrial leaning stuff. Can anyone recommend good plugins for this? I already have the Korg Collection 6 and an S950 emulation plugin.

Looking for synths and also effects (a lot of effects seem to be 80s and 70s, but I'm looking for late 90s sounding stuff)
