I never imagined there were tiger beetles no bigger than the tip of a chopstick until I came across this one. Unlike the large, brightly colored varieties, this species has a rough, dull-colored shell that looks like a piece of rusted metal—like an old robot 😂.

A lovely Flowers has just begun to bloom,
yet sooner or later, someone will pluck it,
and carry it away to somewhere unknown.
For a while, it rests in beauty
upon an old, moss-covered wall.
Then, forgotten and alone,
it lies by the roadside,beneath the gentle rain of an afternoon

A Queen ant of genus Pheidole, may be Pheidole parva.
This ant is only slightly larger than the tip of a needle. I found it just after I bought my first 4x infinity-corrected objective lens and had just finished building a tube setup for it.
