Since finding the mod that makes household members into NPCs it as helped me greatly. I play as my main Samantha who started off as a teen ( I made her parents NPCS) and now she has a great husband and 2 children. I made the husband an Npc and will slowly start to play the kids as they get older. Having less control has made the game more fun for me
I absolutely loved all my families in mr last save but the families grew too fast and were spread all over the world. I decided to make a new save focusing on one family only.
I have been so disenchanted with many of the pre built sim homes because they normally only have one bedroom. My families outgrow them quick. I recently discovered how to actually make livable basement space. It has changed my game for sure. I usually build 2 or 3 bedrooms in the basement and a recreation room along with a bathroom. Any other fans of basements?
My current sim households have grown too much and I want to cut down the active number. I have decided to move all the parents of my current young adult sims to the other households tab and just have my young adults and adults go for regular visits. All the parents have lived their lives so not much else needs to be done with them. I am worried about Culling of my sims parents and grandparents though. Is there a way to prevent them from being culled once I move them to the other tab?
I have read Marvel comics off and on the last few years and I want to get back into Marvel again but where does a returning reader actually start? my experience of Marvel was the late 80s early 90s 1988-1992. I know the current landscape of Marvel is considerably different. to understand Marvel today what is a good starting point?
There are quite a few apartments in the game. Which one is your personal favorite to redecorate? I find some of the apartments are too large with. or enough bedrooms.
I notice you can lock doors for everybody but an individual but is there a way to lock it for everybody but a married couple or couple who are dating? I would like a private oasis for my married couple.
I’ve noticed more and more over the past few weeks where a sims wants won’t auto complete when I have performed what they wanted me to perform. I have to auto complete it in order to move onto the next one.
I have started to use the wishing well a lot now that somebody told me about it. Twice now it has instantly made a sim appear who had nearly a full romance bar and friendship bar. Are these sims already in the game as townies or does the game just create them on the spot? Also one of the sims had great friendship bar and romance but when the sim joined my household they had bad compatibility. i don’t see how that works.
I really love this sim but all throughout her teen years, young adult years, and currently adult years it is impossible to find her a partner. What makes this worse is that she has a Family aspiration and she will be turning into an elder in 10 days and it doesn’t look good
I recently had a death of my sim Rosa. She was the shining star of her family and had aced 2 careers. She managed to have 2 careers and raised 2 children and even had a grandbaby she babysit. She recently died and now my focus has been on her 2 sons. One is a rocket scientist and the other is a top personal trainer. it’s strange how the stories play out
I would say I have quite a few households but a lot of them can be connected to same 4 families. I call them the founders of my sim world. I follow their children cousins and so on. How many do you have?
Hi! I just came back from vacation and saw the new patch. I downloaded the patch without my mod folder and then proceeded to update MCCC. MCCC only shows 90% of what it’s supposed to be showing. I can’t access the cheats menu on computer or mailbox. Mailbox MCCC is not showing up but sim shows MCCC and the computer does. What could be causing this ?
In the last few days I have noticed that many sims who have died in the last few weeks are suddenly alive again.
I need ideas for lifespans that give me enough time to do a career and mastery of 1 part of an aspiration. Right now I have young adulthood set at 30 days and it seems like forever. I have adults set at 20. Elders are set at 1 day. I am trying to maximize sim growth but still allow my next generations to thrive and grow at a reasonable pace. I’m thinking of making young adults 15 days and adults 10 days. Any other ideas?

I know there are people who don’t want aging with their own sims and some do but what about the townies? Do you like to see them age and have children and die off? I like having the continuity of the townies so mine don’t age but my own sims do
A random sim with the Castaway trait met my female sim Carla Drake and they hit it off romantically but Carla is a techie and George‘s Castaway trait makes him always upset and uncomfortable around all the tech objects that Carla has lying around. It‘s gotten worse since they are now married and both living in Carla’s big city apartment with gadgets everywhere. They also have a newborn now. I want to change his Castaway trait naturally in game through self discovery but not sure it will change because the trait was created by a mod. I don’t want to cheat and remove the trait either. They are a great couple otherwise but I always hate having that negative moodlet appearing on him knowing he is not 100% comfortable
I am always interested in hearing Sim couple love stories. Were your favorite couple created together or did they meet during the game? if they met during the game, share their love story. Some of the elder couple love stories are so beautiful to hear.
