I would laugh, but I can't afford to throw my back out
I have tickets to see Jimmy Eat World this fall. But recently, an indie band called Sweeping Promises, that I really love, announced a show near me the same night. That show will be much cheaper, plus it's an artist that I want more people to support. I can probably sell the Jimmy tickets (they are pit tickets, but it's a pretty big pit) and go see Sweeping Promises instead, but just the chance to hear "Sweetness" performed live probably won't come around again and SP probably will - unless the attendance is so low that they decide it's not worth coming back to. Has anyone faced a similar dilemma?

Successfully convinced myself not to doomscroll when I woke up at 2:22am and actually got myself to go back to sleep
Got a kid to an appointment and back with basically no struggles
Went grocery shopping, didn't forget anything that was on the list
Didn't spend the whole day doomscrolling/ playing video games.
Suddenly, the world exploded
When Skong came out, I had been unable to beat PV. Died over and over again practicing in the Hall of Gods. After my first playthrough of Silksong, I replayed HK and got all the way through P3, but once again couldn't get past Pure Vessel. Just finished my 3rd playthrough of Silksong and decided to try again. The other day, I beat NKG in Dirtmouth (never been able to do that), then took him out in HoG on the first try this morning. I decided to take another run at P4. First attempt I whiffed bad, dying to Lost Kin. Second attempt, though, was almost perfect (other than struggling more than I should've against Failed Champion). Got to the end with full masks and a bit of Soul, but I wasn't expecting much. I hadn't practiced this fight in months, but it just clicked. I was on my last mask for the final bit, but it didn't matter: I finally beat him.
Now I guess it's time to at least attempt p5.
I 46M am on pretty good terms with my sister, 40F and her three kids (4f, 6m, 8m). I used to watch them pretty regularly. Lately, though, she's started just showing up at my house with the kids expecting me to watch them. The other night at 2am, they were tapping on my 2nd story window, floating mysteriously and asking in a singsong voice if I would babysit. So I burnt some sage and put a salt line around the house; now they just stand on the threshold on moonless nights, staring at me with empty eye sockets.
My family's split: some are saying, "OP, you have to move on. The accident wasn't your fault!" Others are saying that burning sage is a closed practice, and I should've just called a priest. AITA?
Realized this morning that I'm feeling a knee-jerk negative reaction to everything. But it's Saturday and dad shit needs to get done, so I can't just hide in my room all day. Plus, my family is going to Pride tonight, and I don't want to be the crappy dad/husband who ruins everyone else's good time because of his bad attitude.

Was out of town for work for a week. It was a great trip, until I ended up stuck there an extra day due to flight cancelations. Called my wife and broke down in tears after the third cancelation. But i got home in time for kid's birthday and father's day. I'm happy to be home, but not, y'know, happy. Things are stressful.

Be gentle with me: first time posting. Or don't.

Can anyone recommend a good place that serves brunch on Saturdays, ideally a brunch buffet and a place with good options for kids (ages 12-15)? Budget isn't a huge deal, but preferably not super expensive. This would be for mother's day weekend - the mom in question already has Sunday plans. Thanks in advance!
