How common are fake packs?

Disclaimer: I don't play/open packs so please understand I have 0 knowledge of what card packs should look like.

This is my 2nd year of owning a house and the 2nd year that I am planning to give out pokemon packs for trick or treat. Last year, I was able to get some left over trick or trade packs but they all seem to be gone this year so I have been slowly gathering random packs here and there to try and still have some for kids.

One of the places I bought packs from was stupidly cheap. It was also a new user deal. While I am 99% sure these packs are fake, I don't know if that's even a thing or if these are just resealed. Alternatively, if they're real i would love to just give them away without opening them to check the contents since packs these days are kind of pricey and that would save me some money.

Packs in question: https://imgur.com/a/8Qbj9q1 They were about $2 with the new user bonus.

Whats the difference between a $20/$100/$200+ hair dryers?

This is a gift for someone that rarely dryes their hair whose 20 hair dryer just died.

See lots of great reviews for $20 versions on walmart. I also see recommendations on reddit for stuff like T3 or babyliss which cost more than $100 but have worse reviews. I'm sure the people reviewing the $20 blowdryers are easier to please but what are the actual differences and what would you recommend?

Looking for an idea to hide a hidden room.

Hi reddit, I need some help. I am trying to make a hidden room entrance. Most of the ones I see are bookcases but the entrance is unfortunately in my home gym so that would not fit in very well there. I also thought that it could be some weight rack but that would probably be too heavy for a door so I don't think it would work.

Looking for ideas on how to hide a door and still have it be operable inside a home gym.

Is it possible to have a "downloaded" version of D&D beyond for character building?

It unfortunately costs hundreds or thousands of dollars to get every book in the app and then they just release new versions making the old books useless. Is there any way to get around this that people are using?

Previously you could see the tables online so if you knew what to look for, you could just make a character yourself but they seemed to have stopped uploading dnd resources with v 5.5 .

Do these cashews need to soak?

https://imgur.com/a/V4MviwU

Recipe says that I need to soak raw cashews for 2 hours in hot water and then peel them. I don't see anything to peel on these cashews. Do I still need to soak them before grinding them up for butter chicken?

Anyone try to make butter chicken or the like with San Marzano tomatoes?

They're basically cheaper than Roma tomatoes over here. Curious if it will be awful or a good swap.

Is anything being done about sellers buying machinable postage?

Getting to the point where 1 out of every 3 envelopes from manapool gets flagged and held by USPS for requiring extra postage(they pay for machinable instead of non-machinable). It's usually not a lot of money but it gets annoying to have to go to the post office for every single order. It's also completely malicious. I've noticed multiple times that the same shippers are doing it weeks or months apart.

Is this going on with tcgplayer/others as well? It's getting really old so I hope these stores start getting fined/banned.

Looking for some direction for team building

Hi, new to the series and had some questions I was hoping for help with. I am at early agent rank 6(back in gear forest).

  1. So far, the agent skills have been in wisdom/loyalty. Will I get enough points to fill out everything? Or should I focus on specific trees?

  2. What tree should I be getting after wisdom? Right now everyone is just an astute mage and I assume I need some physical damage?

  3. Certain mon like lady devimon have a specific nature they need to be in to digivolve to the merged form. Should I be doing that? Does it perma merge them or will I end up with a merged form and something else?

  4. Any mon I should be aiming for if I just have a bunch of int characters? Right now I am just evolving randomly into whatever is available.

  5. Is a mon's ability separate from their nature? Can I learn a wisdom ability and then make the mon valorous without changing the ability for instance? Should I be doing that if so?

  6. Anything else you would recommend? Current team is angewoman, ladydevimon and lilamon. Other 3 only get used while I rez the dead mon so they can be changed easily.

Nounou's authentic Thai/Lao review

Some of you seem to like hearing about new restaurants so wanted to mention this one since I haven't seen any posts about it.

Nounous opened a couple of weeks ago in triphammer mall(by the bar/bike shop). The restaurant looked clean and bright which was a nice change from the rest of the mall.

Hours - They are definitely still figuring out their restaurant. Lunch is canceled most days due to staffing issues and you can really only find out through their FB page because their 3 phone numbers all seem to not go anywhere. We ended up coming in at dinner because of that.

Service - I would recommend being the first person in after open as they seem to take about 30+ minutes / table right now. While we were there, we saw multiple tables leave and people that got there right after us didn't get their food for 30+ minutes after we did. The service is really slow, there were 3 hostesses/servers for maybe 5 tables and we never got water refills or a check without going up to them.

Food - Pad see ew was pretty bland. Pad kee mao tasted better but, was for some reason 1/2 the size of the Pad see ew and tiny despite being almost the same dish. Massaman curry was delicious and the reason we will probably go back once they figure out how to restaurant a bit better.

Prices - All of the dishes were $18-28 depending on the protein. Somewhat high for a dilapidated mall.

TLDR: They are new and really slow right now and sometimes closed randomly. Food is pricey but some of it is good.

Are there any crispy versions of the ATK air-fried spicy chicken sandwich?

They have a step where they microwave panco in order to get it a little crispy but it's really not tasting crispy once it's finished, at least compared to deep fried sandwiches. So is there another recipe for a more crispy sandwich that anyone has seen? Or steps that would make the ATK recipe crispier?

Anyone ever get rid of backyard playgrounds?

I heard that people will come and take them away for free(to resell or reuse) but I am not sure how accurate that is. If you ever got rid of functioning playground equipment, what did you do?

I know tapology predictions aren't the most precise thing ever but this is nuts. Usually there are at least some 40-60 or 70-30 matchups.
