Sick of Lenovo giving me lemons, looking for new laptop, what is the brand landscape these days? Canada, heavy gaming, no budget. Buying Advice
Budget: 6000 CAD
Country: Canada
Use Case: Gaming, FFXIV, Warframe, occasional triple A titles like Death Stranding, not looking to ultra everything. Preferred Specs: current gen (as of this posting) CPU and GPU and 32gb+ ram

Hello, I am currently using a Legion Pro 7 16IRX8H(2023 model) and have had to send it in 3 times for warranty, issues with keyboard, full screen freeze with no BSOD or even an eventviewer log (Which suggests ANOTHER hardware issue) even while I was just on a discord video call while using youtube. Even the Motherboard got replaced last time from warranty and I am STILL sending it back in.
So I am pissed at Lenovo and I had heard that while they were held up as reliable, their computer quality has actually gotten worse, with 2023 (the year I made my purchase) just being unlucky as the most noticeable dip due to soldering issues.
I have gotten ASUS and MSI in the past, MSI I also had to send in repeatedly when my graphics card would just crap out. (Dipped from 90 FPS elden ring to 23, the disk speed refused to go above 300)
I honestly just play warframe and XIV most of the the time these days with the occasional new release and it is supremely frustrating when my laptop decides to choke and die on these low graphical load games (Or even just browsing!)
TL;DR my luck has been very bad when it comes to laptops and I am not certain what the landscape is like for laptop brands these days (Other than fucking expensive thanks to AI) but I have a mobile lifestyle and so I can't commit to a desktop.
Many thanks.
