Saw a thread on another sub about people chatting with others on planes.
In your country, is it normal for strangers to strike up conversations, like when waiting for the bus, taking an elevator, sharing a row on a plane, in line for something, etc?
The main Brasil sub, r/Brasil is pretty much left leaning. I know other countries have the opposite on their main sub. Are there any that are basically neutral? Where does your country's main sub lean?

Which part of your continent would people quickly know you're not from there? Either based on how you look, dress or act?
In São Paulo, it is either Festa Junina (June Festivities) or Carnaval.
In Latin America, at least, Dulce de Leche (or Doce de Leite in Brazil) is very popular as a spread or filling for deserts. I believe it is also popular in Spain and Portugal.
In the US, we only find it in Latino areas or shops. Peanut Butter seems to be the spread/filling of choice.
