Book Progress hasn’t been tracking

I don’t have cookies blocked or anything, so idk what’s wrong, but for a while now my book progress hasn’t been saving at all. Whenever I continue a book or accidentally refresh a page, I’m set all the way back at the beginning. It always either says I’m not reading at all, and the bar doesn’t move even while I’m actively scrolling down, or it says I’m some arbitrary way into the book like ‘78%’ and sets me back at the beginning anyways.

Is anyone else experiencing this error? How do I fix it?

There a few times like this when I think the meta humor isn't done as well as it usually is

I feel like this bit of pointing out how you've encountered multiple optional difficult bosses with a cool theme, didn't really land, and that this segment would've been better off without this joke.

And besides this moment, there's also Battat referring to the shared motif of the Superbosses as the "Battat motif," and also the "Flowery told me" moment. In my opinion, this kind of humor is overplayed in these particular scenes and takes me out of the game. Ralsei's explanation of the battle UI being interrupted by the "Flowery told me" joke almost felt like the kind of bad joke you'd hear in an MCU movie.

I know the game's gonna be more serious from here on out, but I wish these particular jokes were delivered differently or just not there. I think Toby is referencing the reception of and reactions to the game a little too much, and it recently doesn't land as well as jokes like referencing the tsundere cactus line from Undertale or referencing the broken jukebox from Undertale, or the "sealing the drinking fountain" joke, which are funnier and don't take you out of your immersion.

What is the story about a fey who couldn’t be hurt by things she knew the name of?

I heard this story a long time ago, but can’t find it anymore, and don’t know where it came from. I’d like to reread it, but googling it’s giving me nothing. I’m pretty sure it’s a myth of some sort?

Keep in mind that the following text is a very loose, summarized, and probably misremembered version of said story that I am taking liberties with. Hopefully someone can tell me the real version lol.

The story was about this legendary fairy, fey, or what have you, that terrorized humanity, as fey are known to do. Because she was such a menace, many heroes and knightly folk rose up to challenge her. Having honor, they’d always introduce themselves to the fairy, and die. But even when they wised up, they’d usually still introduce their weapon. They’d say they wielded a blade, a sword, a spear, or any other sort of thing, and when they swung at her, she’d be unharmed. Even when they’d lie, she wouldn’t be fooled, and the mere admittance of wielding a weapon would be enough to be unharmed by it.

But one day, a knight approached the fairy with the intent to kill her. When asked what he was holding, he simply said it was a “thing”. He hardly even acknowledged the thing in his hands. He made no acknowledgement of the fairy’s claims it was a weapon, or even a tool of some sort. Even when the fairy pressed him, he was clearly wielding a sword, he’d claim to not know what she was talking about; this was clearly a “thing”. And with this “thing”, he took her head, because she had no name for it.

Cool Guy in VA, NA. But enough about me, who’s this?

That was the best picture I could nab. Rad little guy’s some sort of jumping spider, I think, considering I saw him jump and eat a gnat. Eating gnats makes him awesome in my books. I just wanna make sure he doesn’t have some people-biting tendencies, or have to go back outside RIGHT NOW cause he’ll die or smth.

Ring of Spell Storing Combination

Hey, sorry if this has been asked before! I didn’t see any answers when looking this up, which surprised me.

When filling a ring of spell storing, it takes into account the level of the spell you cast, and that level takes up that many slots. But say I cast Magic Missile into there, 5 times. Can I use all 5 slots at once for a big, singular magic missile?

What Decks can run Critias?

Besides Lair of Darkness, I mean. I’m in a casual playgroup, and they’ve gotten pretty tired of my Lair shenanigans. But I *love* Critias. Mirror Force Dragon and Doom Virus Dragon are fucking peak.

So what decks can run Critias, and actually somewhat kinda make it work? Any suggestions?

Werewerewire Realization

Werewerewire is described to have absorbed his wire and become stronger.

I propose this is because he’s a power strip that’s been plugged into itself, likely as an attempt by some kid to achieve ‘infinite energy’. It’s that classic question that we all ask, why can’t we plug it into itself? Even if that doesn’t really work in real life, the simple dream of trying to achieve infinite power is probably enough to make Werewerewire abnormally powerful when compared to the other plugs, as well as create that electric personality he’s got, so full of fighting spirit.

Might’ve even been Kris or Noelle that plugged him in like that, since we know they used to play with the stuff from the library.

It only just clicked for me that they might’ve been a power strip like Ramb, but plugged into themselves, yesterday. Maybe it was obvious for y’all though lol

Howdy y’all! Got a bird bath for my birthday a few days ago, and I was super excited. Small problem though. No birds are coming.

I’ve tried two different spots. One near a bunch of bushes in my yard, one where the bushes are farther away and there’s more sun. Neither spot got any visitors. What am I doing wrong?
