..... with my new rig. From 26-30 frames during landing to 80-130 frames with vegetation set to medium. Happy Camper here!! Now I will finally get to to use my FF777ER, the previous rig could not handle it and kept crashing after about 1,5 hours of flight.

Found these in a box the other day! After Flight Shop Pro came out I ended up buying airport and scenery designer when it came out. I never managed to create any scenery though.

I forsee smoother landings and stutterfree approaches in the very near future! This will be my new rig for X-Plane12, MSFS2020, FalconBMS and DCS!!

Today I completed my first flight with the FF777 from HKJK to HKMO. On the two previous attempts at a flight I had a GPU crash. I decided to try a short flight today and I managed to complete the flight to Mombasa. My landing rate was 194fpm although my TCA needs some serious calibration and I need to do all the proper button/ switch assignments.

I am really glad that we have a study level 777 but personally I find a load of stuff like the voice control, the caption on the screen and the tinny computer voice to be rather annoying.

I was also not really happy with the following points:

The fact that X-Plane default replay does not work ( I should have read the manual before purchasing I guess)

I have to enter my simbrief username before every flight, why is there no way to save it like other developers provide?

It is not possible to sync the FO barometer to the CPT's barometer. (yes it is but not automatically).

Anyway, off for another quick flight. ...

EDIT: forgot to mention that I seem to have some ghost throttles while in flight. ( see screenshot ).

i must confess to not having touched X-Plane in almost a month. I have enjoyed flying the 737 and 787 in MSFS2020. It was a nice break but although the scenery is gorgeous, .... the rest just does not feel right. So last night I took the CYA from HKJK to HTDA as KQA482. So nice to get back into X-Plane but I really need to update my rig soon, I have had to trade SimHeaven and AutoOrtho for decent(ish) frame rates. I am eager to upgrade from my i7-9700 to a 9800X3d, for life has been expensive with all kinds of things that could not have been postponed, I hope I will be able to buy the components for a new rig in about 4 weeks!!

Hi everyone! I am probably going to get downvoted for this post but so be it. Both on reddit as well as facebook (model building groups), I often see people asking for advice, complaining about their airbrush or sometimes downright ranting about how their airbrush is the worst P.O.S. that that have ever purchased etc.

Often these posts are accompanied by images or a short video of the airbrush not working (properly). While a lot of people seem to look after their tools I could not help notice that some of the airbrushes that are posted look like absolute shit. Dried, sometimes caked paint all over the airbrush and paint cup. How? Why?

While my modelling bench and DIY spraybooth will quite likely beat most of yours hands down in a 'How messy is your workbench' contest, my airbrushes are clise to immaculate. I learned that an airbrush is a precision instrument and should be looked after which means keeping it clean at all times.

I have two Evolution 2-in-1's, one I purchased new 15 years ago, the other I purchased 2nd hand about 10 years ago but they are both in immaculate state with the purchased one looking like it is just a few weeks/months old.

I believe that 95% of the problems with airbrushes are due to not looking after them!!
