Neutral electrode placement in total knee/hip replacement
Usually I put a disposable sticky neutral electrode on the thigh. Is it appropriate to put a neutral electrode on the thigh of the leg which isn't operated?

Ultrastop antifog solution for laparoscopes
So, in our facility this type of antifog solution is used during laparoscopic procedures. After each wiping of the lens with moistened gauze, a non-scrub person sprays twice it's surface and immediately the laparoscope goes inside.
Isn't it pointless? There is no time to dry and for the film to form.
Surgeons seem to be obsessed with this ritual as well as scrub nurses.
What practice is established in your facility, if any? A hot saline works well, too
