Guys, something magical happened to me yesterday.

Guys, something magical happened to me yesterday.

Yesterday I was playing my positional games and I was solo tank as Magneto, and honestly, I was doing badly. My healers kept harassing me even though it was a 1v2 tank.

We managed to capture all three convoy points with a lot of effort, and when we were starting the attack round for the tiebreaker, I switched to Captain America and one of my DPS teammates switched to tank. For some brief context, I sometimes play Captain America against bots and in Quick Play, but I'd never tried it on ranked; I'm not confident enough to do so. In that game, with 59 seconds left, I was so angry that I went all out, and we managed to take the first point in those 59 seconds and carry the magic squirrel for all three points.

It was incredible! I mean, I'm not saying I'm good, I really don't think so. But we extended those 10 seconds for the three points. And on defense, the opposing team lost the game at the second point with 3 minutes and 30 seconds of advantage. After they wrote "gap" to us several times in the chat, was a nice game! Captain America really is an incredible tank. From there, I played six more games with him and reached platinum, basically with Captain America. I think I'll play him more.

Haven't you noticed?

When I play as Dr. Strange or Thor, my relationship with my teammates is normal and reserved; they rarely pick fights with the tank. But lately, playing Mag, people have been especially polite. I mean, yesterday I had three games where they asked me if I wanted another healer pick, and if a certain DPS was working, so they could play something else, etc. And I was like, wow, wow, wow... since when am I the team leader? I've NEVER been treated this well playing Strange. I mean, DAMN, it's totally unusual. Does this happen to you guys too?

I'm new to reading comics and a friend told me that the Nullifier was unbeatable.

Is the ultimate nullifier superior to the Infinity Gems? Could it destroy conceptual entities like the Phoenix Force?

What do you think of Devil Dino's Grab?

As a Vanguard player, what do you think of the grab that Devil Dino has? I'm not asking people who play with him (almost all DD mains say it's perfect), but players who have other mains and play against him. Is there a reaction time? Is it fair? I don't think it's fair, because I play Strange, but maybe my main is the only one having problems. Do other Vanguard players have the same issue?

My goats.

I main Dr. Strange (and I'm currently working on Magneto) with 680 hours, and I have to say that these two together as a team have never disappointed me. I don't remember them ever letting me down. I prefer them a thousand times over a Cloak and Dagger or Invisible Woman.

I miss my grounded.

Brother, I know it was really broken sometimes, but damn, how I miss it. I had a game where a Magik kept bothering me, and a couple of times I caught her with low health, and she still managed to escape. Sometimes I think: If I'd had Grounded, that loser would have been 100% dead. And then I go take a shower, put my hand against the wall, and silently lament because they totally nuked my healers in that game.

First time using Magneto in ranked

I main Dr. Strange and Thor 95% of the time, but this time I decided to try Magneto and OMG! I got 6 kills. And in a later game, I managed to stop all of Punisher's ultimates—where was that tank my whole life? XD

Me gustaba mucho ragnarok online. Y emulaba mucho... demaciado. Esa habitacion llena de gordos puteandose mientras jugaban, tenia su encanto y cercania.

broski, I'm tired of seeing posts where people complain about playing tank. Sometimes I feel like they're talking about people who were forced into the role for a few games and feel like martyrs. I don't think anyone who's a true Vanguard would cry about being Vanguard (it has its downsides, but nothing out of the ordinary). We're the team's rock, we're the ones who lead the charge, we're the ones on the front lines smashing heads. When I'm on the front lines, I'm not a punching bag, I'm Bane breaking Batman's spine in front of my team. Playing Vanguard isn't a burden or torture, it's genuinely fun. Don't believe that bad press.
