I am so paranoid about this employee stalking me that I will not even given specifics in this thread. To keep it brief, I work maintenance at a business with many locations(I am the only maintenance worker)

There is an employee, let's call her Carol, who stalks my movements and wants to know where I am at any time I am at her location. If I go onto the roof to look at the HVAC system she is wondering why I am up there and why it took so long. If i step out to pick up something from a hardware store, she wonders why I left the building. It is endless and nobody else behaves this way towards me at the company.

Why is this allowed? Because Carol is related to someone very high up in the company. She now has direct handling of my scheduling and using my PTO on my schedule if she thinks for a second I wasn't doing my job. She can also alter my schedule that greatly benefits her. And when I am scheduled for her? All she has me do is clean(something that was outlined in taking the job that is not my responsibility)

I have a year and half of nasty messages from her both in the company messaging system and private text messages. She is often not showing up to work but tells the boss that I am the one not showing up to do work. I have proof that she is the one telling me she isn't coming in that day and proof in form of images of work I was focused on during some days. I plan to take all this to my HR but I don't expect anything to be done about it sadly. Our company has a no harassment policy but it's obvious who the except is.

What should I come prepared with to HR? I will have print outs of all the times she harassed me, the times she didn't show up during her scheduled shifts, the images of my work that proves I was present. I want her fired, but I know that won't happen. What stance should I take knowing that I will still have to deal with her in the future? Is there some terms or language I can use to stress the point more with HR?

I have never made a complaint to HR but I have informed them previously about someone in the company harassing me but did not give specifics.

Are each a possibility a different piece or are they all basically the same? I noticed that some come in blue eyed boxes and others in green eyed boxes. Anyone know?

I work near a park that does not have an off-leash dog area. There are often many kids in the area and there has been a dog bite incident. I have contacted PP&R before and they simply said “when reported we will respond to any violations” which is incredibly unhelpful.

Outside of trusting in PP&R actually enforcing the off-leash codes, how can I annoy them until they do their job?

I took a job a few years ago that was very stable and I felt very useful. Now the company I work for is being run by AI and corporate shenanigans are happening with things that shouldn’t be happening.

I used to have some connections working in film and television in the area and want to reach out to maybe get back into that. Anyone know where I can contact to make connections into the field?

Would love to get some flag stone for my house and easement but can never seem to find any. Anyone have recommendations for a garden shore or home improvement store that will have them?

Sister-in-law loves kpop photocards and I was hoping to maybe get her some if they are possible to find in the area. She has specific groups she likes of course so it may depend on those.

Nobody from my work or friends really place tabletop games and since I am a parent I have limited opportunities.

Twice today at two very different neighborhoods I saw off leash dogs causing problems. Once in a children’s playground and another chasing a jogger. Dog owners seem very entitled but face zero consequences.

Anyone know if Portland actually pursues fines to violators or is it hopeless fighting the entitled dog owners?

My home has lath and plaster on the basement ceiling. It’s mostly in good shape but I am learning that this doesn’t seem to be too common in my area. My basement has very high ceilings, around 9 feet, and I am wondering if I should rip down the ceiling to rewire all the electrical and plumbing since all new changes are simply attached to the ceiling.

Anyone else have this? What did you do?
