Dan was making a series about the Spanish invasion of Mexico, but he scrapped it cause his friends, the History on Fire podcast, were doing it and he didn't want to compete with them.
Well, we are here a decade later and I want the damn series!
I'm thinking of pilfering my under performing Duskana deck and turning it into either an Ayula or a Beorn deck. I've seen a bunch of posts about people excited about the bear cards added in the set, but every decklist I have seen posted hasn't actually included the new cards.
Anyone got a good decklist? Ideally bracket 3. Also not married to those two commanders so if you got something else interesting let me know.
I missed my anniversary by a couple days last year, haven't thought about smoking since June. It gets easier folks.
Edit: man what a typo, that's 3 years lol
I've been alternating watching the NBA finals, the Stanley Cup, and now the World Cup. I had the realization that all three sports on a conceptual level are very similar. Two teams are trying to place an object in a goal. However in two of those sports simulation, faking or exaggerating an injury with the intention to draw a penalty on an opposing player, occurs way more often than the latter. Why?
Am I the only one who feels bad for him? Like ya, he stabbed Mordecai (well Uzzie) in the back (chest) but it was one of those terrible end of the floor "we were set up to fail" scenarios and he just kinda panicked. Especially cause he was being prodded along by Odette.
But now he's had his jaw broken by Stalwart, his wings ripped off by the AI, and is obviously saddled by some pretty serious guilt over the decisions he made decades ago. All while within sight of freedom on his last season of indenture.
