As a candidate with referrals it's really confusing that someone on the inside wants me to work there, is telling the hiring teams that I would be great for the company, and then three weeks later I get an automated rejection without ever talking to a single person.

Why are you not listening to your employees? Can you not filter by who has a referral and who doesn't when you're looking at applications? Are you getting like 100+ referrals for one job opening? If I was a recruiter I'd be elated that someone in the company was doing my job for me, I guess.

I'm not angry but I am frustrated that this happens all the time and it feels like knowing people isn't even worth it anymore.

I'd love to add some new plants to my game, especially fruit that's compatible with the juice fizzer or nectar maker. I've looked here and there and all I'm finding seems to be incompatible with the latest versions for a few months.

Anyone using anything right now they can advocate for? Thanks!

Hey all, like a lot of people these days I lost my job a while back and recently felt like I should probably try and meet some professionals. I know there's lots of events in Seattle but I'm wondering if there's any I should know about on this side of the lake.

I know they probably won't help me find a job immediately, but it's good in the long run if I meet some people, right?

If it matters, I'm in marketing spheres, copywriting/communications etc. I'm trying to avoid tech startups but other than that I'm open to meeting new people from all walks of life I guess lol

Hi there, I'm not sure where else to ask this or get a response but I'd be happy to go elsewhere to resolve this.

I'm a big fan of Bienchen's Townie Overhaul mod so celebrities don't spawn in places I feel someone famous wouldn't be. However, for the last few months, I've noticed it's not working as intended. All the other modules work perfectly, but for some reason no matter what community lot I got to, the same five celebrities spawn one after the other in an endless loop.

This is typically what happens:

• Whenever I enter the lot, Thorne Bailey spawns.
• When he leaves, Octavia Moon spawns.
• When she leaves, Naoki Ito spawns.
• When he leaves, Megumi Ito spawns.
• When she leaves, Cordelia spawns.
• When she leaves, it loops back to Thorne.

And this cycle is constant the entire time I am on the lot. It doesn't matter what save I use, it's every save and the same five Sims. I've tried searching for an answer, and it sounds like Bienchen is aware this is happening, but I haven't really seen a fix for it, although she keeps updating the mod (and I am using the most recent version uploaded to CurseForge last week for the newest patch). I'm wondering if anyone else who uses this mod has this issue? This mod helps me out immensely but I'm thinking about playing without it so the same five famous sims leave me alone.
