Newbie preparing for a trip

Sorry for maybe stupid question.
Im about to do my first big trip - about 1200km. (750miles 🦅). From them 900km will be on a highway and 300km on such roads as i attached above. What should i take with me regarding service of the bike? I run tube tires, 21/17. Also its gonna be +32C/90F hot. My main concern is that place where im going is really far from any cities or even villages, so relying on help or even thinking about some service shops is not an option at all. Im pretty handy, plus im not a novice regarding riding, but its gonna be my first real outdoor exploring trip. Any advice welcome

Kle500 pre 2007 - Rear shock adjustment???

Not a preload adjustment!
Dont know how i never looked closer at this - when i was putting back my toolkit i noticed that kle have those holes (mounting place) in the frame, and it looks like rear shock can be mounted on any of them? I was in a little hurry, so i will def look more detailed on it tomorrow. Is it what i think? Looks like mine is at the higher position? I have changed doglinks so my bike rear is already lifted, but interesting to find something new in the bike i have for few years:)

Need collective opinion

Need some collective brainpower to diagnose a weird issue on my KLE500. It just came back from a service where it got fresh oil/filter, valve clearance adjustment, and carb clean & sync.

The Symptoms:
1 While riding: There is a distinct whining, scraping, and rhythmic squeaking/whistling noise coming from the bottom/lower center area.
2 When I pull the clutch in or coast in neutral: The noise stays exactly the same.
3 When stationary (at a standstill): The engine sounds absolutely perfect, both at idle and when revving high. No weird noises at all.
4 Throttle reaction: The noise seems to get slightly quieter when I open the throttle (when the chain tenses up).
5 Brakes: Completely unrelated, tapping front or rear brakes doesn't change the noise.
6 New symptom: When I shut off the engine, I can hear rhythmic clicking sounds coming from the left side of the engine, around the shift lever area. They start faster and progressively slow down, completely stopping after about a minute. I don't think it did this before the service.
Current state of components:
The chain tension and lubrication seem fine. The front sprocket is worn but still has some life left (not sure if it's an OEM rubber-damped one or aftermarket).
Since the noise only occurs while moving and persists with the clutch pulled in, I'm thinking it's chassis/drivetrain related, but the clicking after shutoff worries me. Could the mechanic have over-tightened the chain, causing the output shaft bearing to protest and overheat? Or could it be related to the cam chain tensioner after the valve job?

Any advice on what to check first would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Advice needed on seized engine

Hello everyone, just bought a FI Press Cub 2009 with 42k kms.
I bought it 150km from my place relatively cheap. I did 100kms on rural roads with 3 stops. Then i did a 40km on highway and engine seized. Kick is blocked, and i was not trying to push with with force. Apparently i overheated it, and to be honest, was not expecting from cub to seize from such distances.

As i understand the block and top end were never disassembled before, and ill be the first one who will do it. Any advice? Can i save the original cylinder? Not much a mechanic, but i believe i can do this myslef.

Any advice appreciated
