Hi everyone,

I scanned my car recently using a Xentry diagnostic tool and pulled a stored transmission fault code from the TCM. Looking for technical advice from Mercedes mechanics or anyone familiar with the 722.6 5g tronic automatic transmissions before throwing parts at it.

Control Module: TCM (Transmission Control Module)
Diagnostic Code:
Code: ⁠0730⁠ / ⁠P0730⁠
Description: Transmission has an impermissible gear ratio / Incorrect Gear Ratio
Status: STORED
Current Symptoms & Observations:
(occasionally car going into limp mode under load for a fee seconds, check engine pops up and everything goes bac after a few seconds. Check engine turns off after a while).
