So I was looking at some children's books for my godson and saw that there is a children's author with the same last name as Dr 2nd wife. Which is not a common one, at least not to me...

I go to the author's website. She lives on Long Island. Has 3 kids. Is older in a grandmother way.

Went down a rabbit hole yesterday trying to figure out if they are related 🤣🤣🤣

Edit: when I saw the name, I was immediately like "ohhhhhg like the DOCTOR?!?!" That is where my brain is these days LOL.

Andrea was psychotic and delusional when she drowned her kids, then called the police on herself because she knew it was wrong. How does that happen??

If she knew it was wrong, then why do it? Why did her brain work to report her crimes, but not to stop herself?

Or was it like she snapped out of it when it was too late? Or was she having a different kind of delusion in reporting herself?

In 2007, the Petit family of Cheshire, CT (next town from where LC grew up) suffered a brutal home invasion and 3 out 4 members of the family were murdered. The trials (2 suspects) and witness testimonies were emotionally charged, with gruesome evidence, much like LC's will be. I have thought a lot about those jurors, how much they had to see and what it was like for them after. I found 2 articles which I'll share below as separate comments.

Just something to keep in mind as these jurors get ready for trial.

Edit: OK I agree, keep the autopsy and crime scene photos of the kids for jury/court staff only but the rest of his motion is garbage.

I just saw a comment on a post re an 11 yr old w/DCM.

At that age would a DX of DCM be considered "acceptable" or part of aging?

Not to minimize that dog or its health, but at 11 yrs, wouldn't we expect it to maybe have something going on? 11 is an amazing age milestone for most dogs but especially a Dobe!

I know Jason is an ancient name (it's in Greek mythology) but in my experience (46F, northeast USA), it's definitely more of a modern name. And the spelling!? Wow.

I've lived and worked on the Shoreline east of New Haven my entire life except college. I know the towns and what high schools are where. This weekend I was on Rt 80 going out and back to Deep River and saw quite a few "congrats GHS" signs along the way, especially in Killingworth, but some in Madison too. At first I thought, OK maybe joint custody, both parents want a sign...but it was many houses...and definitely NOT in Guilford.

Are people hating HK/district whatever # that much that they are petitioning for their kids to go out of district to GHS? They were definitely GHS signs, Grizzlies mascot, green & white, and all.

But like, if I had a choice, I'd want to go to Hand lol.
