1 week in Bali - am I being too ambitious?

Me and my partner will have 1 week in Bali in early November before she flies home and I go on to Gili T. I've seen a lot of comments about how bad the traffic is so I'm wondering if I'm trying to do too much with this itinerary. We don't ride so would need to use Gojek etc. What do we think?

Am I an idiot for planning 10 days in central Vietnam in October?

There's a lot online about monsoon season but lots of people seem to be saying it's quite sporadic and it could be ok. Would I be better off cutting out some of the central itinerary and going north instead?

This is my first time going to Vietnam and keen to see as much as possible so I'd rather not miss out on central Vietnam entirely.

Hold music gets gradually louder so you reduce your volume and miss the call

Has anyone else noticed how hold music for most companies’ customer service gets louder and louder the longer you wait?

No one waits with their phone next to their ear for their turn in the queue for longer than 2 minutes, we all put on speaker phone and go about our business.

So what do companies do? They gradually crank up the music for those first few minutes, we gradually turn our volume down, then when we finally get put through to someone they’re so quiet that you don’t hear them unless you’re right next to your phone and they can hang up without dealing with our problems!
