Internal Filter Change necessary? 2020 Nissan Altima S, 98000 Miles, Automatic
Getting ready to do an ATF change on my car. I've looked around but I keep getting conflicting info. I know when I do an ATF change I also need to replace the external paper filter. But what about the internal Mesh Filter/Strainer? Some places say no, because those tend to last the lifetime of the car, other places say, yes, you should do it every 30k-60k miles or whenever you change the ATF. What do you guys think?
