Why are Indian Households afraid of Cheese?

less calories than paneer per serving

higher protein content

more calcium

easy to incorporate into various dishes.

any time i tell someone i use cheese in a recipe or as a condiment they start saying it's unhealthy and bad for you and start talking about paneeer. and if you say "processed foods" half the paneer in the country is rubber. and adulterated.

i ate cheese on a cut phase in my gym journey and saw excellent results. you need to understand about food

Hello, I'll be visiting in Oct time during pujo. i have compiled a small list of local joints and food spots ofc it won't be possible to try all of them as my stay will be relatively short, 2 nights. pls suggest which of these are must try and I'll be visiting with family so not really fond of long queues I have been told repeatedly that Glenary's and Keventers have become quite overrated. also kind of looking for pocket friendly places. no problem with beef or pork. i really wanna try some good meats. looking out to try an english breakfast and good tibetan food some chinese too mainly looking for

a good western joint , pizzas, burgers , italian, english breakfast

a good tibetan joint : thukpa, momo, sha phale (sorry if i spelt it wrong)

a good chinese joint: chinese classics like chowmein, chilli chicken chilli pork

Any startups or companies by alumni?

asking to the seniors has anyone started their own company or is there culture of entrepreneurship in ISI recently. also not taking about coaching startup. it seems one half is able to keep making love to their favourite subject and do research and stay happy and the other half seems to sell their soul to work in fintech which does also keep them happy but you get it.

Lakshmipat Singhania Academy fest. What a bum

went to lakshmipat singhania academy fest Exebit, abhilakshya , bullionaire and iris

what a bumfest

it is a 15 year old fest atp yet all the volunteers are absolute bums. cannot say anything for certain and my god the events. so much partiality they did this neat little trick where they entered LSA and some LSA international. same school btw

literally so many prizes were just

1st prize LSA 1

2nd prize LSA 2

why even conduct a fest atp??? just give urselves the trophies and seriously stfu

they didn't even gave any third prizes. so the deserving students didn't get prizes

and my god the weirdass rules. no mobile phones to be used in the green rooms / student rooms. bro why?? all other fests literally allow. and so much unclarity and constant rule changing in events.

atleast be clear in your results

Definitely not going next year

no clear judging criteria

🇮🇳linguistic enthusiast here. What are the historic proto languages adored in pak

Well I really like the way urdu evolved. I mean it's organically grown. Unbeknownst to the general populace hindi isn't really an organic language. It was standardized after the dialect of a single district in UP called khariboli. There were so many others which we are losing. Like awadhi, brajboli, maithili. I have an understanding that the indo-european language map extends nearly upto balochistan? What is the level of mutual tangebility. And what are your views on the unique language found in the himalayan region. Notably near the disputed region. For context im Bengali and people think bengali, ahomiya and odiya are same. However Bengali is far closely related to persian than hindi is. We call father as "baba" instead of the papa. Bengali evolved from Magadhi prakrit. And has alot of persian and portuguese and English loan words. With some arabic too. While hindi evolved from shauraseni prakrit and was artificially standardized by the british. Funnily that has singlehandedly destroyed so many informal languages like rajasthani where hindi is the official language. My understanding of pakistani urdu is it is a mix of shauraseni prakrit. Persian roots and a deccan influence?
