Hey, first time poster here.
I have a Dyna-Glo DGH485CRP-D. Had it for like 4 maybe 5 years now and the heat tents rusted to pieces and my grill grates had a lot of rusting on them.
I used a brass BBQ brush to clean before every meal which I heat up the grill and I also spray Avocado oil on the grill.
Was it father time that did them in or did I do something wrong?
I ordered replacement heat tents and new grill grates for that model off Amazon.
I am going to season it all using a onion dipped in Avocado oil before every meal, would that be okay?
Also any tips on cleaning off the carbon flakes built up inside the BBQ?

I'm usually a cartoon only look but since Barrage is only shown as a toy only (Unsure of the comics) I went full sticker on him.
My parents could not afford much back in the 80s but they always got me some of the Transformers I wanted and this was one of them. I always loved the Barrage toy and now I have him again, with his correct eyes too. Thank you ToyHax for turning him into what he should have been in the first place.
This was so much fun to apply and the chest part in the bot mode looks so much better now with the white breaking up all that green.

Left and right, whatever but they lost me when they were on the same page with Dana Metcalf on something.
I got him into car mode as gently as I could and one side of his exhaust pipes was difficult to put in as you have to slide the arm part behind and the middle exhaust pipe has to lock in from behind and not just slide in.
So I need help changing him back and wanted to know the best way to unlock the exhaust pipes without breaking them as I've heard from other people here...

How has this been allowed for so long?
The sheer amount of rocks thrown up by the trucks leaving the gravel road is crazy.
I'm actually amazed someone in a motorcycle hasn't been hurt or worse killed by the rocks tossed up by the trucks leaving that spot.
Even if a dump truck leaving that area is going slow the cars, trucks and motorcycles coming up behind that truck are doing at least 100 Kph so the stone thrown up and heirs that car is like the rock going 100 Kph.
How is this allowed to be like this?
In normal situations there would usually be mitigating things done to reduce the chances of this.
Like tire pools with brushes to help dislodge the rocks before they hit the highway or maybe pave that area or move the exit someplace else?
