The "Total Basis" displayed in the Trader+ app (windows) double counts the basis for BrokerageLink investments by including the account itself as well as the BrokerageLink basis in the 401(k) account.
If you use the app and have a BrokerageLink account associated with a 401(k) (and perhaps other similar accounts), so not use the total Basis to calculate anything until its fixed.
I’m looking at putting Hue (“secure wired”) outdoor cameras on my external gates (4 gates). Each runs on a 12V battery with plenty of capacity for the 1-W draw I understand they need.
Has anyone here hooked on of these up to a 12V battery? It looks like a proprietary connector (no surprise), but the included adapter looks like it could be cut and extended with some 16-Gage wire to make the connection to the load side of the power system. Has anyone tried this?any “gotchas?”
The battery went out in one of my outdoor cameras, so I took a new set out to it only to find it was filled with ants. They had chewed through the translucent cover on the back (covers two small slots) and setup shop there, complete with a queen. I removed what I could, treated with permethrin, let it dry, put in new batteries then sealed it back up. The red light came on when it powered up and I can see scores of ants still in there moving around. They will die from the permethrin, but I’m most concerned that there’s a reason that cover is translucent and the only thing I had that was tough enough to keep them from moving through was absolutely not translucent.
Is it setup that way to detect light levels or something? I expect to be replacing the camera relatively soon, but I want to reinforce that weak spot on all of my cameras so they don’t become similarly compromised.
Has anyone else seen that cover used as an entry point?

I have a site that will not let me put in the Keeper password from KeeperFill (https://mypay.dfas.mil/#/) on Mac (not sure about Windows).
I tried using "paste as keystrokes" via an AppleScript/Automator but got nowhere (the script seems to work fine other places). Is there a way to allow Keeper to work on that page? This is for my 88yo father who relies heavily on Keeper to make his passwords work for him.
This might be new or old, I haven't been using the PC program for very long.
The positions window in the Fidelity Trade+ Windows app (version 4.7.2.4 (26.05.29.4.997f0c)) has an incorrect total due to double-counting the BrokerageLink account. First, it counts it as it's own account (which makes sense as it has it's own account number even if it is linked to the Roth 401(k)). But it also counts it as part of the Roth 401(k) balance. There is a small difference between the two (about $900 lower on the one displayed with the 401(k)), but it should not count them twice. Weirdly enough, it shows the BrokerageLink "% of Acct" as "1,339.25" and the main part (S&P 500 Equity Index) as 34.08% (it's not, it's 6.87% of the account).
This all shows correctly on the web page. It's the app that's munged.
My SolarEdge inverter stopped communicating with the service. There is no blue light, but it has a strong connection to the WiFi AP. I tried a reset of the system, but it remains offline after coming back up, even though it is connected to the WiFi (just a solid yellow light, no blue after boot sequence finished). This started at about 7:40AM CDT today. I checked the monitoring site online and all it says is offline, but it shows a last update time at the same time it came back up (but no actual power update). Any ideas?
