Cheap Deals for Star Wars Legion?

Hi, I’ve been sort of lurking around the subreddit and I’m interested to somewhat try miniature games like Star Wars legion, yet all the starter boxes are really expensive and as a result it’s a bit hard for me to justify (also tbf I don’t know how to properly paint miniatures and don’t have paint). Is there any place that gives discounts on like older runs of past box sets?

Anyone feel Ryder Azadi is a bit weird in Thrawn?

I get Timothy Zahn wanted to like give more backstory to the governor shown in rebels and explain her connection to Thrawn, but the way I took Azadi, as this sort of renegade old authority figure rebelling against the empire, it kinda feels weird to seem him engaging in corruption, trying to buy pryce’s mines. Perhaps there is more in the book themselves, as I read a comic adaptation, but I was curious if anyone else had similar thoughts or disagreed entirely.

Is Jump to Lightspeed Good?

I recently got an Amazon gift card as a gift and noticed that for whatever reason, Jump to Lightspeed’s full booster set was absurdly cheaper than other sets; these were all sold by Amazon. Is there a reason for this? Is jump to lightspeed less good compared to other sets?

(Personal theory) Star Wars Galaxy (and ig yuuzhan vong galaxy) exist in an aether made up of mass amounts of midichlorians

I always assumed that the reason midichlorians were key was because they were literally behind the force in every way. Choking, telekinesis, lifting objects, it’s all midichlorians communicating with each other from a force user whose cells are communicating with midichlorian cells. This also makes sense in space; firstly it explains the weird physics of Star Wars ships acting like they’re in a volume instead of a vacuum) and we have seen force users use the force in space. I’ll admit there’s faults here in that midichlorians don’t fully explain things like prophecies or seeing the future exactly, but it could still be explained by midichlorians communicating with more actual godlike figures.

also I’ve always interpreted Star wars to take place within the same universe as us, so maybe there’s like a galactic cluster that’s just filled with midichlorians which includes any out of galaxy galaxies in Star Wars whilst excluding our galaxy. I think it could also be explained that force repellant things like ysalami eat or kill midichlorians in some way.

Is Blind, Leia Deck, “A Lawless Time” Han Solo meant to be op?

I was playing for four hours with my friend (5-4 rounds), both as new players. One of his favorite strats was basically just having Han Solo get stronger each attack, and as the snowball grew (and with blockers like sentinel) made it kinda hard to deal with. I know Gideon’s pack thankfully comes with one thing to deal with him via being able to just flat out defeat a card that’s less than 3 cost, but what’s the actual strait to counteract this?

Help regarding costumes-First timer who hasn't really done anything yet

So I've become interested in Star Wars cosplaying and have a desire to be either some specific subtype of stormtrooper or an officer (prefer republic though no options seem to have republic officers). Further more, places like Denuo Novo seem to be high quality (talking officer uniforms) as I'd prefer not for it to feel like a Halloween costume and more like an actual uniform, yet their hats are inaccurate with an imperial cog based on krennic wearing one in rogue one. Worse yet, on the trooper front, as far as I can see, most armor is usually 5'8 and above or, for younger people 5'0 and below. I'm currently 5'5/5'4 and a senior in high school committed to a college; supposedly my dad grew in college, but it means rn and assuming I don't have a later growth spurt I can't do a kids costume (if I was forced to anyways) or an adult costume (preferably) for stormtroopers.

I've been thinking about this for a while, and ignoring the other issues in Mandalorian season 3 and the corporate forces irl pushing Grogu to remain a child for selling toys; I think making Grogu the same species of Yoda has basically written the character into a corner. In the sequel era, he'd still be at most acting like a toddler still, since he'd be 80. Even going off latest timeframe in legends (which canon will maybe go further than but will take an absurdly long time irl for them to actually reach), grogu would be at most like 15 (bby 130). You can't do that much with him either in prequels, (which it seems like Kellaran Bec may return for, which whilst I like his character, again due to grogu still being young in that it would kinda just be replacing the mandalorian with a Jedi).

Can we think of a way to like fix this that isn't having Yoda's species like randomly speeding up in aging before slowing down again?

Was re-watching Star Wars Rebels and noticed that we see an ESB AT-AT in this scene despite rebels using a different variant. I'm pretty sure it occurs before we ever actually see the AT-ATs, so it is probably just an error cause of planning, however it could suggest either the EST AT-AT was already in development at this time or that these variants existed at the same time.

Given we see imperial v-wings, LAATs, AT-TEs and now AT-RTs in the Mandalorian and Grogu, do you reckon such a thing exists as an imperial Y-Wing? Would they not have used them for a short period of time to flush out the remaining separatist worlds?

I'm honestly somewhat interested in maybe getting into the game however I learned about the previous games like LCD and Destiny going under and as a result, I'm a bit hesitant to sink my teeth in. Did LCD or Destiny have cards for movies?

They made a like magic the gathering type Star Wars game which means you’ll ironically have people being like “FUCK HE PLAYED THE GLUP SHITTO CARD” and it’s somehow gotten really popular 22k visitor subreddit.

picked a random imperial glup that was for some reason shown as the example card on the official Star Wars website
