A Šamsur-Aht (SHAM-sur OT) (Spear-Knight in Eluskan) poses near the ancient city of Ahúkútul (AH-hoo-KOO-tul). A city along the river Igrati, it has outlasted many different nations that have laid claim to it.
In 1388, it is now a city state, free from the rule of any king. The copperskinned inhabitants grew rich, as Ahúkútul was a major hub for trade between the continents of Avrosula, Gendu and Xir-Shaih. Many famous poets and philosophers have at some point taken up residence within the walls of the city.
The soldiers that dot the city walls and patrol the streets are known as the Aht. (Knights). Acting chiefly as the Ahúkútuli army during war, the Aht serve as city guards during times of peace.
Each Aht has a specific title depending on which weapon/fighting style they’re assigned. Šamsur-Aht (spear-knights) like the one pictured above, make up a majority of the troops, and wield heavy armor and a long spear. In battle they will commonly form a massive shield wall, using their heavy steel tower shields. The Djuru-Aht handle all magic affairs and the Makuri-Aht act as civil engineers and siege experts.
The highly decorative and protective armor is a master crafted, lightweight steel design with runed cloth garments, providing minor defensive and healing spells. It was a combined undertaking of all 3 branches of the Aht that designed this superior set of armor.
The Šamsur-Aht are known far and wide across Wyrr as fiercely loyal, and willing to defend their city of Ahúkútul to the last man. They have even been known to even launch offensive attacks against any neighboring states unwise enough to disrupt their lavish and culturally rich city. This however is very rare.
In the northern plains of Avrosula, a continent on Wyrr, lies the warlike kingdom of Czíkald. Barbarians from the Eastern reaches of Avrosula united under the rule of Draník, First Warlord of Czíkald.
1000 years later, in the present (1388 in the Wyrran calander) the Duchy of Czíkald rules over a minor swath of land, bringing their often cruel but efficient way of life to all their serfs and peasants.
Pictured is a member of an Elite Unit of the Czíkaldan Warknights, posing in Thorn Armor alongside his War-Bear.
The imposing looking iron armor is studded in a multitude of metal thorns, providing defense in melee as well as against the bears themselves, either while being tamed or should they become uncontrollable. Bears, tamed by Czíkaldan Shamans, are fitted with armor and a saddle providing a mount as well as support in battle, should the Warknight dismount.

Pic 1: A Sea Elf infected with a Polysite. Note the Eye in the mouth of the Host.
Pic 2: Juvenile Polysite
Pic 3: Pounce attack for infection.
Pic 4: A mature Polysite with all limbs outstretched. (About 6 feet long stretched out)
Lore
Polysites are semiaquatic parasites, that infect sentient hosts. They hatch in sewers and ruins that dot Wyrr. Basically an eyeball/octopus. It infects unfortunate travelers by pouncing up and piercing their spine.
It uses Proto-nerves to connect to the spinal cord, then uses its two hook-like claws to burrow in to the stomach of the host, where it then makes a wound to act as a feeding cavity. The Eye-Brain travels the esophagus and uses the host’s mouth as an eye socket.
The now deceased host will act as a means of transport and defense. The two spear-like claws are digested, and all 8 tentacles emerge from the hosts back. These tentacles can be used to fight and manipulate their surrounds, smelling and tasting with their worm-like-tips.
Once matured, it will live for 3 years. They reproduce asexually. Upon reaching the end of its life, the Polysite will internally lay eggs in the hosts torso, find a drain, culvert, etc, crawl in it and die. The newly hatched eggs eat the corpse and the cycle begins anew. Grotesque but effective.
Part 1: The Singular Form
In the Earliest Days, Wyrr was blue and still. Oceans covered her completely and no life stirred. From this depth rose Urukhoš, the Giant. For 1,000,000 years he scrapped the mud from the ocean and made Gend’Luru, the home of life. He slept in the shade of Drisi, the Tree. He nourished himself from Nara, the River. He climbed Šakul, the mountain and looked in every direction.
He was completely, utterly alone. Urukhoš prayed.
Part 2: The Star Fall
Urukhoš prayed to Nothing, and for 100,000 years he prayed. He was lonely and prayed that he may no longer feel this emptiness again. On the 100,001st year, his prayers were answered.
From Nothing came Something. Something came in the form of Osgǔ, the Fire. No one knows from whom Osgǔ was born, where Osgǔ hailed from, why Osgǔ hit Wyrr, or how it heard the solemn words of Urukhoš.
From the inky Košmus, the Empty, Osgǔ, Star of Fire, slammed directly into the head of Urukhoš, and he was turned to The Ash and Sky. His remains were strewn across the entirety of Wyrr seeding life.
Ošgu shattered the Land, splintered the Tree and flooded the River. Continents began to form in the wake. The fire of Osgǔ sank and sank, til a molten core formed and in its Chaos, brought forth the power of Creation and Destruction. For 100,000,000 years the World healed and reshaped itself once more.
But the spark of life, (save for vegetation and crustaceans) was now extinguished on Wyrr.
Part 3: The Miracle
The fragments that once constituted Urukhoš had finally reformed as Two. Mir, Death, and Aroš, Life. From this Miracle came all that is LIGHT and DARK.
They fight for an unknown duration. Aroš fighting for life and stability, and Mir fighting for destruction and Rebirth. Aroš wants to rebuild Gend’Luru, but Mir ensures that Aroš will never succeed. The lands once again shift.
The fighting of the Two wakes the Early Elves. Precursors to all that is elven on Wyrr. Mir corrupts factions of elven tribes to do his bidding.
The Dark Elves wake up.
Part 4: The Cleansing Storm and the Deep Unknown
After the corruption of the Dark Elves, Aroš summoned forth the Cleansing Storm. Nearly flooding all of Wyrr. Though it pained him and caused him immeasurable sorrow, it was the only way to vanquish the corruption. The flood erased all of the corruption Mir placed upon the elves, but changed them as well. In the wake of the Flood, the Sea Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves wake up. Countless other lesser elves scatter the Ruins of Wyrr.
The Cleansing Flood however, awoken a force strange and terrifying. Unknowingly, the lightning from Aroš’s Fury stirred to life Ulošun, deep in the trenches of what is now the Therydian Ocean.
However, Aroš was still fighting Mir, Who-Cannot-Die. Mir, having learned from his past humiliation, rebuked the rule of Aroš 20 fold.
Aroš was wounded and tired.
Part 5: The Parents and the Siribat
Aroš, confused and dying, sought to give up his form, just as his precursor Urukhoš once did. Upon dying, he returns as Umat (Mother) and Abat (Father). They consummate their love and Umat birthed the Moon, Tabliel (lit. “Good-Night” in Lab-Uskan, hence the phrase) on Tabliel, the parents birth and raise the 1,000 Siribat. As the Siribat wake up, they will become their own respective deities on Wyrr.
In Its despair, Mir creates his Dubious Kin, malicious beings that live to counter all progress the Siribat may have in shaping Wyrr. To do this, he creates volcanoes, and using the molten core, he effectively destroys any last hope that Gend’Luru will reform. The Siribat splinter off into many lands and will eventually for pantheons for the Races that one day call them home.
Though evil in nature, the Dubious Kin serve to keep Creation of the Siribat in check. Balance and order are created.
Part 6: Men Awaken, and The Great Dark.
The Siribat, overwhelmed at the prospect of fighting off the Dubious Kin, create men. Elves had no interest in doing the bidding of any God, lest they experience the shame that brought about the Cleansing Flood once more. Men filled this role. However, Mir created men of his own, seeing that Men would be forever doomed to fight amongst themselves.
Tired from millions of years of fighting. The Siribat relied on Men to now forge Wyrr at their behest. Mir, Who-Cannot-Die, used Its Dubious Kin to spread discord and deceit across Wyrr.
Tribes and clans fought one another. The men and elves fought, for even the Siribat, with all of their wisdom and power, could not full control the Men, as Mir had poisoned their minds with the men It created.
War was all the life on Wyrr knew, and the constant commotion finally awoken Ulošun, the Hate of the Trench. He spewed fire, steam and lava on Wyrr all at once.
For the next 10,000 years, no records are kept. No tribes form. Races retreat to caves to hide from the indescribable horrors that plague Wyrr. Life is mutated and warped this time. Monsters of every kind now roam Wyrr, making it a hostile and unpredictable world. The Races just barely cling to life. The Parents flee to the outer depths of the Košmus, never to return.
Part 7: The Second Miracle, Orcs and Dwarves
After 10,000 years Ulošun returned to sleep and things on Wyrr began to stabilize. The Races exited their caves and discovered agriculture. This is now known as the Second Miracle.
Upon returning to the land, the Races discovered the Orcs. Orcs had lived on Wyrr during the 10,000 years known as The Great Dark. No one can say for sure how they actually got there, as Orcs were primitive and stupid in their very-earliest-days. Overtime and despite great hardships, the Orcs created clans and tribes, language and culture. Now as civilized as any of the other races, they too took to life on Wyrr, though they face discrimination from the other Races, due to their mysterious origins.
The Siribat, now sapped of power, could only sway Races through visions, dreams, and taking the forms of mortals. In their wisdom the Siribat create Magic. Magic is granted to all of the Races, to arm them against insane terrors, should Ulošun ever reawaken
Wizards, sages, shamans and the like now lead the various factions of the Races. Rudimentary civilizations begin to form. The Siribat seeded the pursuit of Knowledge on Wyrr.
A lone Siribat, now known as Ahzhurr, was so traumatized by the horrors of the Great Dark, that he retreated to the far North. He made his own land, Dwaer. On Dwaer, Ahzhurr sat and mediated on the horrors he witnessed. In his deep meditation, he lay so still that a gargantuan mountain formed around him, and from this mountain came the Dawrves. Inheriting the anxieties of their God, Dwarves were naturally xenophobic and dug into the mountains. There, they made vast Chamber-Kingdoms. They dug gold and gems, and advanced rapidly in areas of science and engineering.
Worship of their God, Ahzhurr, let to Wyrr’s first monotheistic religion.
Part 8: The Rule of the Races
With farming came society and with society came the myriad nations that now speckle the lands of Wyrr. The First Empires arise.
The Elves in their home Syrgra, excel in areas of art, philosophy, literature and architecture.
Men created the earliest organized religions, grow rich with the mastery of commerce, and create some of the earliest laws on Wyrr.
Dwarves, now with a technological edge, abandon their Chamber-Kingdoms and colonize lands on Wyrr. They form the earliest technocracies, and most Wyrran tech comes from their discoveries. Dwarves, now accustomed to the other races, lose a lot of their inherent xenophobia. They eventually assimilate and adapt to life among the lands of Elves and men. They are known to be shrewd, but honest.
Orcs are the first to domesticate horses. On war carts, they ravage lands that dare to threaten their existence. Many advances in weaponry and metallurgy are derived from the Orcs, though Dwarves will almost always dispute these claims.
Part 9: the Present.
Kingdoms and empires have risen and fallen, and the Races, constantly evolving, are now on the precipice of a full blown industrial revolution. Mages and scholars are now learning how to imbue dwarven creations with the Magic the Siribat gifted to Wyrr. This brings about amazing creations, and devastation in many forms. The world is still adapting to rapid changes, and not all of the Gods are happy to see their Magic in such a perverse fashion. This will set the stage for more writings that I haven’t gotten to yet.
I started drawing from a few real world Bronze Age languages. I now have a few basic words.
What next? Grammar? Rules? Syntax? What do I do now?
First shot at making a conlang. Thanks in advance Reddit

Primus SUCKS
Had to add the info! So happy they’re coming back, even if only for a little bit!! 💜💚
OKAY they weren’t necessarily a jam band but the album pictured (3:47 EST) and their sophomore album “Hope” feature some beautiful songs, and a handful of pieces with extended jams. (California Jam, Sub Rosa Subway, Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft and Long Live Politzania come to mind when considering jams)
Oozing with elements of hard rock, prog, British music hall style, space rock and a VERY noticeable Beatles influence. (FUN FACT: after 3:47 EST was released, many people spread rumors that Klaatu was actually the Beatles reuniting under a pseudonym. They weren’t, obviously. The fact that Klaatu didn’t perform live or list any credits on their first few albums played into these rumors.)
I’ve gotten very into them as of late, and feel that their music would be right at home in the annals of jam history or prog rock history if only they’d gotten more love.
Any Klaatu fans out there? Wouldn’t it be cool to see a jam band cover them? What do u guys think lol
No I will NOT be adding any context or correlation between political entities and jam bands. You can’t make me, my mommy said so. 🤑
