Id like some advice for which warriors games to branch out to from the nintendo ones

For whatever reason these past week or so I have been craving a warriors game like hell and I'm pretty sure I'm going to explode if I don't play one soon XD

The only ones I have played have been the nintendo ones, minus the recent age of imprisonment since I just wasn't a big enough fan of totk

The exact kind of thing I'm looking for is a warriors game with an incredibly expansive post game much like hyrule and fe warriors with a cast I can just sink my teeth into. Which is where I'm struggling since I'm not aware of any warriors games with that. I was thinking of dynasty warriors origins however from what I've read it is really story based with very little playable characters which isn't what I'm exactly looking for right now.

I do own the fate extella games however as a huge fan of fate I want to play extra ccc first and I don't want to rush through that game just to play extella if ya catch my drift. I was thinking p5 strikers and despite being a huge persona fan it doesn't scratch my exact itch right now

Does anyone have any advice on what I should play? I'd prefer if they were on sale on steam currently but that's all, as long as it's got a lot of gameplay with a decent sized cast like hyrule warriors I'm happy. Sorry if you guys get this question a lot lol

So I just finished extra, what do I do now for the rest of the series?

I completed the game with archer's route with rin's ending and Im just wondering where I go with the series from here? Is it like the visual novels where its worth playing through the game again with saber and caster or can I just move on? Speaking of which I heard the order is extra > extra last encore + illistrias geocentric theory > ccc (route you picked for extra, so archer in my case, which is fine cause iirc thats gil and i love gil). > extella games. Is this a decent order or should i swap around ccc and the anime?

Overall though I loved fate extra, as soon as i started to abuse stun and skill spam week 5 onwards the game got a lot more braindead and fun XD

I did overall love the story, a lot of it felt really bittersweet, especially the ending, a lot of the emotional moments didnt quite hit for me though aside from alice making me cry like hell lol

Is there something Im just not understanding about the combat system

This is my first time playing and initially I was a really big fan of the rps combat system as Im noting down every pattern I see to remember them all. However I'm, on week 5 and the issues I have are starting to show where enemies simply have too many attack patterns to be able to deduce which ones they're going to use until you kill enough of them. Like, sure show me they're going to guard on turn 5 but that appears in 3 different patterns and each of them do different combinations so its rng. And until I get to that point it's just complete rng where ill be jumpscared by a pattern I havent encountered before and die.

I'm doing my best to combat it too like being safe with my heals and doing overworld attacks yet this drains too much mp from mc and there isnt great mp heal options other than spamming yakisoba bread. I'd love to use servant skills more but you cant buy servant mp recovering items and archer goes through his mp like crazy.

Is there anything I can do to stop the frustration Im having with the game right now or is this just how it is? I didnt mean for this to come up as a rant post lol, Im really loving the game and cant wait to watch the anime, play ccc and both the extella games.

Anyone else feel weirdly stressed now that you're on summer break?

Idk what it is but during this break I've felt weirdly more stressed with my career/academy work than I did when I was working my butt off during term time. I havent gotten a job but I'm fine with that since I'm more than financially stable enough to not need one. However the main stress comes from the fact I'm just struggling to touch the things related to my degree at all over the summer. I set myself the goal of starting a web novel for creative writing to get my name out there and practice my coding for the new semester however whenever I try to touch them I can't help but procrastinate and not enjoy my time with them. Which is weird because I absolutely love writing and coding, and I'm like the last person who procrastinates especially with deadlines. I haven't touched them for the last week and half because of it and it's stressing me out like hell since I feel that I'm wasting my time or shooting myself in the foot for the future. It doesn't help this was a recent career change but that's a story for another day. Is anyone else having this issue? I'd assume its just burnout but idk

holy hell did 3.8 change my opinion on firefly

I've recently come back to hsr after really hating 3.7 and the last thing I expected, was firefly, who used to be in my bottom 3, soaring up to one of my favourite characters in the game due to the 3.8 story.

I find it so sad the original penacony story didnt do her nearly as much justice as 3.8, I went from laughing when she got impaled by death to bawling my eyes out multiple times over her
; _ ;

I ended up impulse pulling both her and Dahlia, thankfully I already had fugue on my account so I just need to build em up. I'd pull her e2 if I had the money and pulls to spare but I gotta save for yao guang and sparxie XD.

I've recently got the air ship so I want to knock out all the side content I care about before finishing the game. I usually wouldn't care but some of this looks like a real pain to grind like the monster arena fights and super bosses. What content should I hit up which gives me more story/lore drops of the characters and world? I'm doing all the jecht spheres especially since he's my favourite final fantasy character now but is there anything else I should do?

I've recently beat seymour on mt gagazet and goddamn is he such a huge spike in difficulty compared to everything else I've done so far. I don't think I'm particularly underlevelled either, I've been killing every encounter, just haven't been going too out of my way and backtracking for side content since I want fast travel first.

I spammed overdrives at the start whilst making sure ppl were hasted, protected etc. But I did beat him though by exploiting a weird loop I found with aeons at the end of the fight. I kept summoning with Yuna, did an attack then seymour killed them, however, it pushed back his turn enough to where kihmari and rikku could get in more hits/buffs to prepare for total annhilation.

It was a super fun fight though, but it does feel like a bit of a sucker punch having the rest of the game be super easy until this point XD
