Need help with helping my machinegun cleric

So, long story short, cleric build this character when there was no proper tank in the group, so the idea was supposed to be able to help the single front line stay alive while shooting from the back and so on. they decided with battle harbinger... which i even buffed, allowing it to make a single strike whenever it casts one of their battlefont spells.

but for a few session we have a new player, who is very cool and is playing a proper tank, that can self heal, so the need to help with that is lower, which is good, she didnt had a lot of heals anyway, but even as the "battle cleric archetype" it also seem to lack in the ability to well, battle.

now i get it that its using the chassi of the cleric class which is not the best for dealing dmg or even worse, dmg as a martial, but in case iam wrong on that, i would like to ask those who are experienced with the cleric, and their capabilities, is there a way to make it better with strikes, or a different build that could fit the same idea?

coz the player has been getting frustated, doesnt hit as frequently as the rest, when she does, doesnt deal as much dmg as even the tank. she even switched most of the slots that had heal for sure strike

some recent dumb homebrew ideas i had

2 of those i drew from scratch, the shield was an edit on a cool shield image a player wanted to use. i think its from some game or something...

anyhow, about the items themselves (definitely not balanced but meh):

Tiny wand - Item 7 - 400gp (this was made to help with the caster third action problem, only later i realized it sounds like a pp joke)

Less know for their original name, spell lances were traditionally used by sprite knights mounted on their light cavalry corgis, for hit and run tactics... nowdays however, its used by many casters of any heritage, for its unique ability to cast a diminutive version of a regular attack cantrip at half the time, at the cost of half its destructive power.
Most casters find the trade-off worthwhile, despite the awkwardness of "wielding" such a weapon. Its best to avoid calling it tiny in the presence of a sprite.

Belt of Skull Collecting - Item 9 - 750gp

This uncomfortable heavy belt is constructed from the spine of a monster, the processes having been carved to work as hooks. While invested in this belt, you increase your maximum hp and current hp by 2 hp for each skull (or part of one) with a different trait attached to the belt, up to a maximum of 4+ half your lv max and current hp. If you remove the belt you immediately lose this effect.

Shattershield - Item 9 - 700gp - AC Bonus +3/+4(take cover); Speed Penalty -10 ft.
Bulk 5; Hardness 9; HP (BT) 66 (33)

A magical shield with similar size to a fortress shield made of a cracked stone like structure.
While it may look fragile with small fragments breaking of easily, it is fairly durable, as those fragments always return to the structure, as it self-repair 5 hp at the start of your turn.

The ease of its partial shattering also has an offensive function, whenever the shield takes damage in melee, its shards seem to always violently break in the direction of the attacker, as if striking on its own. This uses your statistics for the strike roll, but not your MAP, and do not use the damage of any boss attached to it.

Gun that shoots guns (attacks that makes minions that also shoot)

So i recently found out about the verisium manifestations and living lighting. living lightning seems just fine with spark and such, but i would rather not waste time to find out that verisium manifestations sucks or something...

any build ideas to make this work? doesnt even have to be a crossbow or bow build (altho i think those would be funnier...) seems like the manifestations are very ward hungry for very little...
