Maybe I’ll get a cd-rw drive for my iMac g3 soon, but it originally came with a dvd drive that doesn’t work anymore. Can I just put the dvd laser in the cd drive making it a dvd drive?
I tried to update bazzite a week ago, I had Firefox open and Firefox needed updates. When the terminal began updating Firefox it froze,
And after some time I forced it to shut down by the power button. When I start bazzite now it works normal for a couple minutes but then it freezes. I already tried updating and rebasing the system but it also freezes before it can do that.
What should I do? Any advice is appreciated!

My Philips W76EKW10X73 stopped working after 8 hours, I was using it and the screen just went off. I have a video of what happens if I try to turn it on, and I have unplugged it since. A friend said that maybe it’s capacitors, but he doesn’t know for sure.

I’m on macOS Big Sur with iTunes 10 and when I add some mp4 files I converted they show up as breaking bad season (X) disk (X), but I renamed the files before putting them on a flash drive to get them onto the Mac, what is going on?
And where can I find such a cable?
I have this iMac g4 and I tried making a backup for the first time and after 2 tries I did it (the power went down one time) but when I wanted to sync more to it the next day it couldn’t find the backup. And now, 6 days later it can find the drive and automatically connects it but it says preparing and won’t connect even though I can see the files on the Mac
The original backup took really long and I don’t want to do that again, I hope it’s possible to fix it without deleting the old backup
