My Elders Quorum president gave an incoherent 10-minute speech during second hour today. It jumped from topic to topic, and some of what he said made me wonder whether he may be dealing with some form of religious psychosis.

However, among the many things he discussed, he described a time in which his non-member wife placed oil on his head and gave him a blessing (he was very clear that she did not claim to do so through the Priesthood 🙃) and said that he felt the Spirit and was healed. He concluded by bearing testimony of Heavenly Mother.

No one batted an eye or challenged his statements. I’m still a little stunned by it. Am I witnessing grassroots progress?
