PBP - Castle Schlagenhoff - 3 LBB OD&D Megadungeon - Online - [ODND]

Recently, I've been running a game of Classic Traveller via play-by-post, and so far, it's been really enjoyable. I've found that running this game has been a great way to work through the "backlog" of gaming scenarios and adventure locales that I've written up over the years.

With the success of this first game in mind, I'd like to announce a second play-by-post, this one for Original Dungeons & Dragons. The purpose of this game is to open up my personal megadungeon to the general public. To quote one of the most evocative passages in all of the D&D rulebooks, this megadungeon was deliberately designed as the archetypical "huge ruined pile, a vast castle built by generations of mad wizards and insane geniuses".

Dare you brave the haunted halls of Castle Schlagenhoff, and the lightless caverns beneath? If you think you've got what it takes to delve into the depths, and re-emerge with blood on your sword and glittering treasure in hand, then send me a direct message.

I'll be running this game in my usual play-by-post style, where you just tell me what you want to do, and I'll handle all of the mechanics on my end. This'll be updated at a "one post per day" rate, those who've played in my games before know I like to run a fast-paced game.

LFG PBP - Castle Schlagenhoff - 3 LBB OD&D Megadungeon - Delve 2

I've been running an Original Dungeons & Dragons play-by-post game since 08 / 07 / 26.
This game takes place in Castle Schlagenhoff, my personal megadungeon. To quote one of the most evocative passages in all of the D&D rulebooks, this megadungeon was deliberately designed as the archetypical "huge ruined pile, a vast castle built by generations of mad wizards and insane geniuses".

The player characters have just completed their first delve into the dungeon, and are currently preparing for their second expedition. I'd like to extend an open invitation to the community, and encourage you to join these intrepid explorers as they return to the dungeon once again.

Dare you brave the haunted halls of Castle Schlagenhoff, and the lightless caverns beneath? If you think you've got what it takes to delve into the depths, and re-emerge with blood on your sword and glittering treasure in hand, then send me a direct message.

Classic Traveller - Fresh Blood

Good evening everyone, I've just wrapped up one of the Classic Traveller games I'm running, the players did a brilliant job, and successfully completed their mission. With this game completed, I have one ongoing CT game, which I'd like to reinvigorate by recruiting some new players.

This ongoing game is taking place on the hostile desert planet of Yaribat, known for its magnificent ochre rock formations, hostile insectoid wildlife, and the beautiful sapphire-like gemstones that make up the planet's most valuable trade good. At the present time, the player characters have ventured off into the deep desert in search of an ancient tomb, a place rumoured to hold great danger, and greater riches!

If you'd like to join this game, please express your interest below, and I'll send you an invite. New players are welcome, you don't have to have played Classic Traveller before to play in this game. From the player's end, you won't have to worry about getting into the rules, I'll be running this game in my usual PBP style, where you just tell me what you want to do, and I'll handle the mechanics on my end. There's an automated character creator you can use, so character creation is quite literally as easy as pressing a button.

Look forward to hearing from you players, see you in the desert!

Classic Traveller - Play-by-Post - Online - [Other]

Good evening players, I'm pleased to announce that I'm putting together a new play-by-post "Classic Traveller" game. I've had this idea rattling around in my head for a while, and now the time has come to open it up to the community.

You'll begin play on the hostile desert planet of Arrakis Tatooine Yaribat, known for its magnificent ochre rock formations, hostile insectoid wildlife, and the beautiful sapphire-like gemstones that make up the planet's most valuable trade good. From there, the galaxy is your oyster!

From a referee's standpoint, I aim to use this game to increase my own familiarity with the "Classic Traveller" rules, as well as to explore a few ideas I've for games that would be best suited for a system other than Original Dungeons & Dragons, my usual system.

From the player's end, you won't have to worry about getting into the rules, I'll be running this game in my usual PBP style, where you just tell me what you want to do, and I'll handle the mechanics on my end. There's an automated character creator you can use, so character creation is quite literally as easy as pressing a button.

New players are welcome, you don't have to have played Classic Traveller before to play in this game.
