N160 SS vs N250 — what should I buy?

I’m a college student and my dad is getting me a new bike. Budget is max ₹2 lakh.

My main requirements are:

  • 35+ km/l mileage
  • Reliable and not too expensive to maintain
  • Something I actually enjoy riding

I’ve been riding my dad’s 2007 Splendor for around 3 years, so I’m not completely new to riding.

I’m currently stuck between the N160 SS and N250. Both are around the same price right now.

The N250 looks much better to me and honestly, I really want it. But I’ve heard about the wobbling/stability issues and that’s making me a bit hesitant.

The N160 SS seems like the safer choice with more features and radial tyres, and probably better stability. But I’m worried I’ll end up wishing I had bought the N250 instead.

So should I:

  • Get the N250 now?
  • Go for the N160 SS?
  • Or wait for the N250 update?

Would especially like to hear from actual owners about mileage, stability, maintenance and reliability.

18 year old guy who is completely lost on what to do

I studied 10th CBSE and scored 405 marks. After that, I joined a reputable college for a Diploma in Computer Science Engineering and completed the 3-year program with an overall score of 97.1%.

I have a basic understanding of programming (C, Java, and Python), Operating Systems, DBMS, DSA (not fully mastered yet), Cloud Computing, IoT, Computer Networks, Digital Electronics, and related subjects.

I genuinely love computers and spend a lot of time experimenting with them. I have hosted my own Pi-hole DNS server for ad blocking, set up remote desktop services, hosted a Minecraft server, and regularly use Linux. I am comfortable with Linux fundamentals and enjoy learning how systems work.

My main concern is that I only have a relatively simple project to my name and not much else to showcase. I have already had a two-month gap, and I am feeling anxious about joining a reputable B.E. college through lateral entry counseling in Tamil Nadu. I often start learning new things but sometimes get overwhelmed or lose direction before making significant progress.

Sometimes I enjoy with friends and thinking I have time but nowadays I can't get i just feel so lost

I am genuinely scared of my life

Which college is best after PSG TECH. CIT or PSG ITECH ? - Coimbatore

Hello, I completed my diploma in CSE from PSG Polytechnic College in 2026 and I have 97.1 % (6 semesters)

PSG college of technology is out of the box for me since I have very little chance with my percentage but I can easily choose from other colleges which is either PSG ITech or CIT

I have been to both colleges for some events and i liked PSG Itech's infrastructure but people say CIT has a good alumni background, good placements and good reputation.

P.s: CSE degree is my first preference

Thanks in advance 🙏

My LOQ Laptop is overheating!!

Temps reaching 93+ celcius CPU and 83+ celcius GPU while playing games like FH6

Fans cleaned recently and optimised windows (recently reinstalled win 11)

So, I am planning to repaste the existing thermal paste or pad with PTM 7950 from Amazon(Seller: Global Bazzar) and thermal pads for V-ram modules etc (thermal putty so darn costly)

Thermal pads instead of thermal putty is right choice?

Repasting is easy to do myself? (I have some experience in laptop)

Help me out guys 🙏
