Everyone please calm down! I’m not in jail I’m on house arrest. And even then! Satan said I could have the sentence lessened if I behave myself. But if everyone starts rioting, then that just makes ME look WORSE!!! So can everyone stop?!

Overlord Valentino was a monster who treated those beneath him like toys. That being said…sometimes a bad person is just a good person that’s been hurt far too many times.

A few weeks ago Valentino altered my deal. I was no longer confined to V tower during the week and could go back to living at the hotel full time. Not just on the weekends. I still was his employee from 6am-6pm but that’s it. His employee. Not his prisoner. In exchange, I acted as a therapist of sorts. He once said I reminded him of himself and it led me to believe that he treated me poorly because he felt he deserved it. So I gave him a listening ear and advice when he needed it

And…it was working. He was beginning to change. It had been weeks since he hit any of us, he was smiling more often, he even gave me a raise! But I could still see sadness in his eyes.

Then, two days ago. He called me into his office and said I was free. The contract was completely voided and I no longer belonged to him. To my surprise, and probably his as well, I hugged him and…he hugged me back.

I said I needed to call my family and tell them the good news so I stepped out into the hallway but when I came back into his office…he was gone

I can’t believe I’m saying this but…I think I’m actually going to miss him. At least…I miss what he was becoming and I wish I could have seen where his progress took him. I hope he has peace wherever he is”

(OOC, the Valentino that owned Jos soul is no longer on Reddit. Don’t as me for details I don’t know and even if I did they’re not mine to share. But she welcomed me into the community and I’m so grateful to have met her. She was a wonderful rp partner and I’m going to miss her so much.

So I made a slight oopsie in my intro post/AMA about Jo because I only said it glows when she’s stressed. In actuality it glows when she’s feeling something strongly. Joy, sorrow, stress, whatever. If it’s strong, her angelic skin glows. And occasionally if she’s really really happy, her little wing will start to flap. So if you see her glowing, that’s why

(OOC I was gonna do one single post with a bunch of artwork but after all the drama I think we need some normal so I’ll do them one at a time)

“Angel Dust and Alastor were screwing around with Velvettes potion station and they accidentally transformed themselves and Velvette wasn’t around to make the cure so I tried my hand at it but I got the potions for demon form and human form mixed up so now I look like how I did when I was a human. According to Velvette, it’s temporary but it’s still weird as hell. I almost miss my green skin”
